End of Survival
Well… hopefully you got your fill of biting and kissing, because Survival is officially over. While L'amour Parlor and The Zombie Den will remain open, the Voluntary Infection Program has shut down until next year.
If you're still working your way through an infection, don't worry, because I’ve got good news (well… good for those who wish to be undead?)! Your infection will continue to progress until it reaches the final stage and unlocks as a base.
Hope you’ve all enjoyed Survival! Don’t forget you have until March 25th to grab retired restockable Survival items from the Grave Digger Vending Machine.

Thank you for an AMAZING event. That was so much fun. (I don't mean to complain, but if there was notice that the event was ending, I missed it. The abrupt "The End" is the only sad I have.) OTHERWISE... It was fantab. :D Thank you, S. Team! ((Hugs)) to all!

Thank you so much for bringing back the old viruses! Curing in 2009 was the biggest regret on the site. I'm happy to finally have the Love Bug infection again.
This was a really great Survival all in all.
Very glad to see Skitters shop changed, and I'm glad that the older zombie skins were brought back in a very interesting and logical way-- and we got awesome new skins, too (sharrkkkksssrawr)!

Agree with Silvanesti, I was surprised the forums closed immediately. They usually leave the event forum open for a couple days for people to discuss what happened, what they did, check/look at virus results, etc. Should have left it up another day or 2.
@jnerraw There was a notice in the "Sweetheart Bhakoru and Cybill!" news post they gave a more than 24 hour notice. I know it's not much, but you can also follow the #deadline ping group that Spiero posts because he keeps track of announced things and even somehow manages to find deadlines for things that weren't announced so he usually gives at least a 3 day notice before things end, and he had mentioned that he heard in passing that it might end on the 2nd and posted it about a week ago.
I kinda wish that the forums weren't closed so quickly after the end, I accidentally closed the tab with the strain of the virus, and now I have to search to find out what stage of the virus I'm on. Sure, it's not a huge inconvenience, but it would've been nice if the survival forum was still open for another day or two for people to wrap up what they were doing in there.

I also loved that I could get into Skitter's Den without being zombified. I loved all the new items and even got some old ones that have been on my WL for forever.

Thank you guys, I'm so glad I finally got Blistered Hearts, I never thought I'd get that opportunity again!
Its been marvellous! Im so happy to have got zombie skins, I also unlocked the lace skin. got a bit sick of seeing the flowers, but it was helpful for sending to new players.

I wish there had been some notice that it was about to end but this year's event was a lot of fun! I managed to get 4 strains and with the skin system I can be a creepy zombie whenever I want. The customer wearables contest was great, the Zombie Den and L'Mour items were all fantastic, and VIP was a neat addition. Good job all, this was great fun :)
Not bad...got three skins (lovebug, boobitis, and that new deathslug one. Lovebug and Pinkie Patch are tied as my top favorite strains ever. :3 ) because it took a while to get enough nibbles for my first choice.
Plus a bunch of candy hearts...and I finished off the lay a flower top tier, so over all, a very enjoyable Survival. xD

I got 4 strains, two new and two old, and a ton of items. It was a really great month for Subeta I think. Looking forward to March.

Oh thank goodness, no more flowers. I got the lay flowers achievement last year so got tired of seeing flowers all over. I think they gave me hay fever :)
Since there's almost nothing in the valentine shop I want/need guess I'll look for stuff to sell since I have a ton of hearts.
Looking forward to masquerade. Just hope we get at least a week to rest before we start dancing. Can't wait to see what new items will be in the steamworks shop!

Had a great time, but couldn't get on subeta at all yesterday - site just would not load. Sad, since I didn't have a ton of time to be on for the last few days of the event. Oh well, there's always next year.

well crap....i was participating in a contest on the forums....really hope she saved everything since there was no warning
So are those of us who signed up for an infection before Survival ended but had yet to be infected by the end time just SOL on their infection and the sP spent? I'd at least like my sP back if I'm not getting the infection at all.
im kind of angry with myself because i didnt catched any disease after my second bc i thought it wouldnt be able to develope properly ;_;

Awesome, I managed to unlock 4 skins, even with the site error giving me the wrong skin my 2nd time around.
I haven't been active since 2013. I was really disappointed with no zombies in 2013. I just checked here on a whim and got back into subeta when I realized the zombies were back. I have always thought that it would be great if the older strains were released again. I was able to catch my favorites of each year.(still missing Brainrot though) This has been the best Survival for me.
really stoked on this year's survival. i got 4 zombie skins plus happened to get the lace skin from subq as well! overall it was really fun, can't wait to see what's in store for 2016. thanks subeta! looking forward to masq now! :)

It was my first Survival and I had a great time! I am already looking forward to the next event. Thank you so much, Keith and all the Subeta Team, for presenting us with such interesting and fun events! There is not one boring minute on Subeta, I enjoy my stay and I am totally smitten! :-)

Best Survival yet! I'm so happy we can get infections as a Avatar base now! Next year, I'm getting Bubble Jelly. xD
I'll possibly try it next year. Was a bit busy this year with several RL events, but at least I got the Flower-laying achievement, and my friends helped me to get some of the items I was wanting too. :) I already know which two virus strands I want next year, so I'll be set for that as well. :D
