Montre Revamp!
After taking user feedback into consideration, we are happy to present the new montre! This stoic little canine hopes to find a place within your home, and will always try to keep you protected. The montre is also now available in nuclear, cherry and silver!

i really like the Silver montre.
The most of all the basic color. and then Sun.
Well, I prefer Montre to the other dog like pets around here. maybe because it reminds me of a fox a little more [face-wise only]

Lovely!! It'll take a while to get used to just because the old montres have been around for soo long, but this revamp is such an improvement, oh man
Front legs still look too short and the face looks like a traffic cone....I hope next time real images of animals are used as a ref.....not a fan sorry
Don't like it much. Maybe it will grow on me, but... while the coloring/shading is more detailed, it doesn't feel realistic (I mean, for subeta). Best way I can think of putting it is that it looks more like a montre plushie than a "real" montre to me.
As an owner of FOUR Montres, one of which is Ayare, my first pet ever on the site...
I love it!! The old Montre image was at least 9 years old, since my 9 year anniversary is coming up and that's the Montre that greeted me when I joined. I'm so happy to see one of my favorite pet species get revamped with such love! :D

Just like every single revamp the site's ever done, I'll always prefer the original. But as far as revamps go, it's not the worst. The Cherry one is actually adorable. I'm hoping the Darkmatter Montre stays the exact same as before, though. I wish the Chibi could go back to looking good like it used to. I'll probably change my Chibi Montre because she looks nothing like the old, serene creature she used to be. Now she looks dorky. But dorky can be a good thing, and some people really love quirky, goofy pets. Maybe my Chibi can become Cherry instead. And there's always overlays! So thanks to the site for allowing overlays, because it gives us a way to keep the old art on the pets we've loved for the past 9 years. (And I have had my Montres for the entirety of those 9 years. They were my first and favorite species.)
They're nice, now that I look at the old ones.. I realize how hard these needed a revamp lol.. I was like hmm did Montres really need a revamp?? And when I looked at the old ones I saw that the shading has improved ALOTT and that the art looks so much more realistic.. I love it.. you did great work guys, thumbs up!
Honestly I'm too tired to carefully place asspats in between my criticisms. Feedback is feedback, it's nothing personal.
Very nice. Much better than the first suggestion of this re-vamp. Also much more fluff. More fluff the better. <3 (So will the Bloodred Montre and Dark matter be re-vamped or will they stay as they are? slightly hopes for the latter ^^; )
I think they look great! The silver one in particular I find very nice. I might have to get one.
It's also nice to see our comments taken into consideration for the revamp of the revamp. What I commented on was greatly improved (not sure if others commented on the same thing too) but great work artists!

For the most part, there's a lot of good and/or constructive things being said here, but I do some pretty negative feedback. Of course, this is a user-based website, so user opinions are critical. If Subeta didn't care about your opinion, then they wouldn't ask for your feedback at all during the revamp process. Ultimately though, there are thousands of users on Subeta and not all of them are going to be happy with everything. You don't have to be happy about it, but you don't have to be rude either. You have every right to express your feelings, but at the same time, it is more beneficial to do it in a constructive way.
Please remember that constructive criticism means offering a positive with a negative. Rather than saying "I hate this," you could say "This isn't my favorite revamp, but I appreciate the effort put into it." The staff and artists here do their best to try to please everyone they can, so please try to be a little less harsh on them. A comment can be like a slap in the face, and they don't deserve that.
I'm not speaking to any one person in particular, and I'm not trying to upset anyone. I'm actually just trying to keep people from being upset. Thank you to the Subeta staff, artists, and users for everything you do and for your general awesomeness. Happy Luminaire. :)

these are a total step up in terms of art quality. loving the colors on the lilac + twilight versions. :)
I have to say that I actually really like the new Montre! the first revamp had me worried but this one is much better.
I'm glad to see that many of the feedback were heard while making the second revamp, Thank you so much for hearing us.
Montre was my first pet as well and I'm glad to see that his fox-alike feeling was kept. He looks fresh and sneaky.
I hope the "special" versions will be a good surprise as well. :)

the shading is really nice and everything but i dont like the posture that much.. the old montre looked much more expressive in my opinion
The Montre has never had a 'mouth line', you guys lol
Also this is a HUGE improvement on the older one. I agree the face still feels off but the rest of it is wonderful :thumbsup:

I'm also not such a fan, I preferred the 'character' of the old one much more - but revamping pets must be the most difficult thing ever…
Wonderful! Thank you for hearing everyone and reworking the revamp. This version looks fantastic! There seems to be more depth in the eyes and the attitude in the expression feels much more like the montre we're used to. <3 I hope all the montre owners out there are pleased. ^_^
The shading is an improvement but something still feels off about its face. :C I really don't know what, maybe the fact that there's no mouth line? or an indication of a mouth at all? I have no clue LOL
hey did you know saying "this is terrible" isn't constructive nor helpful At All. that's an insult and saying sorry does nothing to lessen that lmao

Oh my goodness! These look great! Thank you for considering the feedback from the users. I love the changes that have been made. Also, I might have to get a lilac montre in the future. Those wings are gorgeous!
These...look terrible. I'm sorry to the artist, but it feels like nothing changed from the initial revamp and it still looks awful. I'm sad to see my favorite pet become this, and great googly moogly I hope someone else draws the reborn version, because these are unbearably stiff, puffy looking, and devoid of the personality the original montre had. Yikes.

My opinion is like that of other people. I loved the old Montre's pose, though this one is good too
