Friendly Thursday: Lukien

He's not usually the sort to engage in anything, actually. Except, well, there is something that's likely to bring him to a panicked rage. If you can find the time to figure out what it is and unlock Lukien as a challenger, beware! He knows his chemistry, and he has quite the stock of potions guaranteed to have you wishing you'd forgotten him sooner.

Not sure if anyone has checked it out, but here's the post from when the magic box was closed and Lukien took over...
Ah, hello everyone. Greetings are as good a place to start as any, aren't they? But I'm far too busy to linger on them, so let's move right along.
A friend of mine--I'm sure you know him, he's that lad from the Magic Box, always has fairies fluttering about--has decided to up and move to the Vetan mountains. Something about being tired of the hustle and the bustle and wanting to own an adorable cabin. I zoned out after a while, truth be told. So he's gone now, meditating and feeding antlephore and probably searching for new fairies, and the Magic Box has closed its doors.
I was left to deal with all his old stock because I'm such a great friend with so much free time. I've got all the damn boxes sorted, and those of you in need of elixirs and potions can find them at my very own apothecary. The plushies have all been sent to Zuzu, whereas Tobias will handle all the magical toy-like things. Mauve took the clothes, because of course he did, while Rose took any accessories and if you're looking for the weapons, you'd best head over to the Weapons Warehouse.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to brewing my own potions.

This has got to be the hardest thing out of all the Thursday challengers AND genetech combos!
Substantial why you hate us? D:

I'd help, but the last few solutions have been pretty obtuse, so I have no idea where to start on this. It could be anything! I'm completely overwhelmed!

Not working:
I'm autistic, so I have sensory issues, as well as social issues/social anxiety. I relate to the "panicked rage" feeling from certain things, and I feel like I'm familiar with some common triggers of that in others, so I'm kinda going through SubetaLodge and seeing what items might trigger that.
Visiting him with these didn't work:

Ive tried wearing a heap of stuff to do with time potions chemistry

The description of his trading card mentions that “you should be grateful”. Maybe something to do with ingratitude?
I am rank 4 on Decanter High Scores with a total score of 155,703,. If it's Decanter of Indestructability related, it's not a cumulative thing.

I agree with Sovereign that the feeling behind the wording for Lukien is different from the others.
Thought

i cant figure anything else out so you know what @ Lukien ur potions suck square up and fight me loser.

Joining this party a bit late. Anyone try trapping him in an elevator with a jabberjaw?
Or presenting him an award, because being in the spotlight doesn't sound so great.

Reeeeally want those wears so I hope he's not a super hard challenger. Lots of the Thursday guys have been really high tier.

the more i read this the more odd some lines read to me and i keep cluing into them im not particularly sure if theyre anything more than mysterious wording to this mystery of a challenger but
Theorizing

The question is, what is he afraid of? I'm sure y'all are determined to find out before this month's Cash Shop challenger, but for those who don't, we will have an idea by the end of the month. And for those who do find out how to unlock him as a challenger, then we have an idea of what he's afraid of and what the Cash Shop challenger will be!

@StarShadow
doesn't work (also i doubt the solution involves expensive retired items)
--
no idea how the trigger would work, but i hope it involves proving he sings top 40 pop hits while he brews
