New Fishing Achievements & Borders!

The Fishing Expert achievement has a new tier! If you find 5 rare items while fishing, you'll receive the new Fishing Expert avatar border.

There's also a new achievement altogether for fishing underground! Fishing up anything counts toward this achievement and once you reach 100, you'll get the new Underground Fishing avatar border.

I quit fishing once I finally won... It never made sense to me. No matter how close it said I was I would always end up so far away. 😭

And the underground fishing, I kind of forgot about that one. I think I got tired of it.

Maybe we should make a guide on which items from fishing are considered rare items if it includes ones that aren't from finding the best spot (which I don't think I'll ever do without a huge piece of luck)

hahahahah. And that's the point, @BoaConstrictor! When I was adding in the achievement, I noticed the code wasn't working like it should. That's why I made the tier 100 for the border (it was 50 but that's because I hit submit too quickly and had to edit it). It wouldn't take years to get but it shouldn't take like two days either.

lol, when the border was at 50 and I wrote in my thread, it'll be done within a day or two, I almost added "providing Amber doesn't tinker with intervalls" rofl

There's no set time, @BoaConstrictor. It's random on what you get, right now the highest time possible being 1.5 hours. I'll fine-tune this some throughout the week (especially if I can get the counter showing) but it's not going to be 1-3 minutes like it was before (again! mistake in the code that allowed for that).

@Life @Cobaltbluetoo I fixed it. It was never supposed to be you being able to fish again within minutes. The code even had the logic right in the notes, just not the actual code!

I'll work on getting it to show how much time you have left this week.

I've played fishing "You're getting very close" and "you were nowhere near it". I can't figure out how to find the spot, so I gave up a long time ago. Never got anything rare either

Alright, what's the time between fishing now? I fish at the end of each set of Quests to keep track of how many points I earn and just now, after 15 Quests I was told I had to wait. Time please.

I remember once upon a time a page/guide for fishing that I have never found again.... once that increased the odds of fishing something nice depending on the first 2-3 spots you choose for fishing... anyone knows what this is or where I can find it again?

Good luck, @Life! That's why I didn't go crazy with that tier, I know the fishing game achievements are harder because it requires either the perfect spot or pretty rare. The items from the rare pool aren't like UB, so it's possible for sure. Just clearly not as common as some of the other prize pools. :x
