Fall Composting!
Head over to the Recycle Beast Composting Heap (say that five times fast...), and read further here for how this works.
The Recycle Beast is taking a lot of items, and you can easily browse and see what items you can expect the recycle beast to take. Hopefully this level of detail makes it easier for you to jump right in to features like this (and we'll continue to do this going forward!)
There are two trackers on the main composting page, the 🥇 solo and 🌎 community tracker. Each item you compost (maximum 50 per day) will count toward both of these trackers.
The composting heap prizes are also split into the two categories.
🥇 solo prizes are items, and you can choose the same item with each tier (50, 100, 250, 1000), or choose a different item. You can choose the book each time! I'm particularly excited for the 🌽
🌎 community prizes are attached to your account, and each redeemable once, but you can choose the order! Things like title bundles, avatar borders or a new category of cosmetic: Reactions!

Twisted_PretzelCan't access my Vault to feed the bin more items, even if i open a new window from legacy- hope its a temp issue, would like to participate.
This is a fun idea. I'll never get to 1000 though. I have only donated 7 so far. Not gonna get it done before event is over :( But I'm glad you're creating more events. I don't like the new site though. It doesn't work well for me.
On my end, I cannot click (either text or box) the items at all to compost now. It worked fine yesterday. :(

Some statistics about the first day
@Draken You can't claim a prize you already have, so you'll just continue getting an error trying to claim that prize. You aren't breaking anything by not claiming that prize, I promise!

@nubby Unfortunately, like I've mentioned in my other comments here, that won't be the case, and we're going to be moving significant site functionality over to Kumos. I'd recommend giving suggestions in the forums on how to make the site more of what you want / why you don't like it, but it's where we're moving!
I really dislike using the new kumos site. I won't be utilizing unless we can access from the traditional web pages.
Pro tip: you can also get pumpkins and other Morostide goodies from battling the current event challengers!

Why does the compost link on the new page just go to the news post instead of to compost heap. I'd rather just go straight to composting. Just disappointed that there is a 50 per day limit.
Do these reactions mean the stickers-as-reactions system isn't going forward? I thought that was a really great idea, it got me excited to actually build my sticker collection
I have so many tot and patch items in my inventory and apperentry the compost heap won't take any of them :/

I was able to finally access the page last night, and it's so cool. What a fun new event. I kinda messed up my 50 turn in item (oopsie) but the community is kicking butt composting. Super cute idea for all the floating pumpkins and treats.
I tried to claim forum titles (it says claimed) but I can't find them in the drop down menu to choose from.
So it's like the Fragmentizer but with limits and prizes it sounds like? Will the fragging aspect be going away once we move over to the new site permanently? I already frag all my low cost and pumpkins so was curious. :)

I'm in the UK. Because of time differences this event started yesterday after I had left for the night. This means I have missed out on a day of being able to compost 50 items. Could you extend the deadline for a week so players don't miss out because real life gets in the way?
I quite like this. Obviously, there is some balancing and tweaking that needs to be done (I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that there's only one day of leeway for the max individual prizes... especially since this started in the evening and I wasn't able to check Subeta until after midnight so I have effectively no leeway), since this is a first go, but I love the idea and the rewards are super neat!
I have noticed that price filtering on the items doesn't seem to work on the item listing doesn't seem to work, and the lack of the mouseover hovers are a bit inconvenient. But overall I think the system is interesting and fun, and I'm really excited to see what other ways we can use systems like this!

ok so clearing my cache/cookies didnt resolve the issue with the skin, so not sure what to do next to be honest
I don't agree with the 50 a day limit along with the way the prizes are distributed. At first it seems similar to Neopet's donation corner, but in Neopets if you miss two days, you don't miss out on one of the 5 prizes. Neopets breaks the prizes down into points, so you aren't penalized nearly as much. Of course, you do miss out on a gold trophy and a bonus prize but you don't literally miss out on 1/5 of the available prizes. But because of how the points are implemented on Subeta, if you miss 2 days, you can't even hit the 1000 point tier. What if you already put in 850 points but something came up and you missed 2 days? Sucks for you I guess =). Meanwhile on Neopets, at least you can spend every single point you earn, but Subeta gives you the wonderful scenario of potentially having a lot of points go to waste at the end
@Thaliel If it’s your first time logging into Kumos, you have to do a password reset (https://kumos.subeta.net/forgot-password), then you can log in. You can reset it to your current password if you want, it’ll still work.

@QueenOfImladris You do unlock prizes, you just get to choose the order you get them (and in the case of the individual prizes, you get to choose if you want three books or one of each item). We didn't want to create another actual currency, so we let you choose this way!

The counter isn't working for me. So I accidentally composted 61 items today, and it still says I can do 50. I have filed a ticket.
Just had time to check it again. When I 1st checked as soon as it came out I was getting error messages on the links but working now, thanks. Disappointed there is a 50 item limit per day.
adding on to my previous ones, was able to claim the border prize with no issues.
