Fall Composting!
Head over to the Recycle Beast Composting Heap (say that five times fast...), and read further here for how this works.
The Recycle Beast is taking a lot of items, and you can easily browse and see what items you can expect the recycle beast to take. Hopefully this level of detail makes it easier for you to jump right in to features like this (and we'll continue to do this going forward!)
There are two trackers on the main composting page, the 🥇 solo and 🌎 community tracker. Each item you compost (maximum 50 per day) will count toward both of these trackers.
The composting heap prizes are also split into the two categories.
🥇 solo prizes are items, and you can choose the same item with each tier (50, 100, 250, 1000), or choose a different item. You can choose the book each time! I'm particularly excited for the 🌽
🌎 community prizes are attached to your account, and each redeemable once, but you can choose the order! Things like title bundles, avatar borders or a new category of cosmetic: Reactions!

seconding the need for a "select all" button (or at least "select first 50"). clicking 50 checkboxes a day just to get my item donation rewards is pretty rough on my wrist.

@Haswari I'm not sure I'd say that this is purely morostide items being asked for? here are all of the items taken. It's pretty broad!
The feature is a way for us to release a few more items during a holiday like Morostide and tie it to a community effort, in this case get rid of a bunch of food that otherwise would go rotting away.

Maybe the demon could come back for Masq? It kinda fits that theme as well.
Though I expect there would be new items I'd want as well and then I'd have to decide again.

@Rathoren Nope. We're tracking how you user it via the variables that are powering the page, so we can toss something up on user profiles or otherwise. We're rethinking how we use achievements to make them actually achievements, and instead let you choose the prizes you want for doing things like composting, like this.

(Though part of me wants to mention it'd be nice to get straight up Recycle Points as I find those to be the most tedious form of currency to earn here, period. (Or maybe the Recycle Beast could just ask for 3x as many items every day?))

Is there going to be achievements attached??? Dont want to hold off then suddenly you guys at last minute say "oh and there is 5 tier achievs"......
I had to pick the rave demon because it goes with my current HA. Anyway, I'm glad I horde pumpkins for making them into treats after Morostide, but now I'm wondering if we're going to get that this year after being encouraged to compost them.

I like how this is a way to re-release retired forum titles. Now maybe someday I can finally get the Unlucky title. I think it's relevant for me today X)
Yay, I love it! Only minor gripe, it said I had one community prize available so I unlocked the skin, but it isn't unlocked in the wardrobe.

We realize people need multiple copies of things, @jersey, which is part of the reason we're letting you choose which items you want as prizes. For example, if you want to do 3 of the book/2 of the Crow wearable, you can do that. This is the first time we're doing this, so we clearly have some things to work out, but I'd like to be able to reuse some of these prizes for a Fireside compost. There's a lot of room for us to play here.

I mean, I need at least 2 books, two of the corn and two of the lantern. Would like the demon and another book as well.
Managed to compost stuff but while I was looking to decide on a prize the page broke. It said it expired and asked if I wanted to refresh. I didn't as I was still pondering and when I hit cancel it gave an error and asked again. I refreshed and the page was broken.

Also everyone just take a second and let it settle - this is the typical "new Subeta thing -> everyone wants in = it's broken as hell -> a few hours later it settles and everyone can do the thing" cycle. It happens every time.

I'm imagining that the recycle beast is trying to claw it's way outta a pile of pumpkins and spellweave tops whenever it's slow to load
The compost page is wildly broken for me? The page layering is completely off and nothing is where it should be.
The kumos site is loading weird for me. Like, all the graphics are above and all the text is below- I'm not sure if that's how it's meant to look. But reloading the page isn't fixing the issue like it usually does when a page loads a little strangely.
So this is why the Kumos website isn't working. I wanted to change my border.
Also, is anyone else only getting 2019 items from TOT? I'm a bit worried something might have gone wrong so that it only gives out 2019 rather than that year and 2024.
