Fall Composting!
Head over to the Recycle Beast Composting Heap (say that five times fast...), and read further here for how this works.
The Recycle Beast is taking a lot of items, and you can easily browse and see what items you can expect the recycle beast to take. Hopefully this level of detail makes it easier for you to jump right in to features like this (and we'll continue to do this going forward!)
There are two trackers on the main composting page, the 🥇 solo and 🌎 community tracker. Each item you compost (maximum 50 per day) will count toward both of these trackers.
The composting heap prizes are also split into the two categories.
🥇 solo prizes are items, and you can choose the same item with each tier (50, 100, 250, 1000), or choose a different item. You can choose the book each time! I'm particularly excited for the 🌽
🌎 community prizes are attached to your account, and each redeemable once, but you can choose the order! Things like title bundles, avatar borders or a new category of cosmetic: Reactions!

Whew, this is the most attention the kumos server has got since launch - it'll be slow and you might get a gateway timeout. I'm increasing the capabilities 🖥️

I tried to navigate to the recycle beast on kumos (tho I see now it's a different link entirely so this is probably moot) and got a different error: "No input file specified."

🎉 This is the first real 'new' feature that we're launching on Kumos - so thank you for being patient that you have to go off site.
I'm introducing a few systems here that we'll be able to use again for future holidays, rotating the NPCs and the items being asked for, but being able to easily show you what items are being requested (or given as a prize).
The holiday tracker (solo and community) is something that can be reused and tied to items being turned in, or any kind of action around the site. We'll play around with this, but I imagine this system replacing a lot of things we've gone in the past!
And something that didn't make it in with this release is NPC reputation. You can see the recycle beast here. We didn't quite get to the point where earning prizes for this felt separate enough to earning prizes for the composting, but when we move over the rest of the recycle beast maybe it'll make more sense

Alas, no access right now, but i was literally thinking earlier about how the site could use another item sink. Hype!
