New: Quartermasters buying high rarity items
While you've all been doing millions (billions? trillions?) of quests over the years, the quest givers have had trouble sourcing the rarer items on Subeta. No longer. They've brought in a crew of Quartermasters to find and supply those items... from your shops.
All day long, the quartermasters work their way through the user shops and buy rarity 90-99 items, paying your asking price up to a cap for each rarity. A ton of these sit unsold, mostly because they have no use beyond being rare, and now they have a buyer. A few rules keep it from being farmed; the Quartermasters page has the caps and how it works. The buyers have a set amount of sP they can spend per day, so it's not a promise that your items will get bought.
Note: This is one of my first real attempts, in more than 20 years, at putting a floor under the price of anything on Subeta. It's an experiment, and I'll be tuning it as I watch how it goes.

I like this! I also like the list of recently purchased items... cuz I just went through and bought some likely well priced rares I was missing. I love that there are so many items on Subeta, but I can't keep track!

I just purged a bunch of rares and supers and fragged them the other day XD Ah well, I like crystals. Will be fun to see how this plays out!
Great idea! In my sPurge aka expensive shop I rarely have sales anymore. Was thinking lots of people probably finished or stopped playing Item Hunt.
i love this idea!! also this might just be me but i love the fact it says which npc bought the item and from which shop? 🥺 it's so fun to just find random people and see their profiles and pets and visit their gardens waaa it makes the site feel so lively!!
This is great, but one problem is that super rares just aren't that rare. The main shops are constantly generating super rares at too high rates. I can go through them and fill my inventory with r90+ items in a short amount of time and by the time I stick them in my shop, the main shops are full of super rares again. I love restocking, but the restock rates are pretty wack.

Hoorayy! I love the rarity system and believe that there should be market minimum which stay rare. I think this is a great step towards making the whole supply and demand of the subeta marketplace run smoother. <3
Also, if more R90+ items could be used as part of new achievements (like that book of constellations in like 3) could help the demand and keep rare items
Very needed. I've been doing a lot of restocking of super rare restockables daily with very little profits to show for it.
Does this mean I need to revamp my shop again? By that I mean moving more items out of my vault and into my shop.
I have tried to wrangle this exact problem on a site I used to work for and it is a maddening, maudlin thing- but so necessary, and automating it is the right move, especially on a site with literally hundreds of thousands of items. Thank you for continuing to not just maintain, but improve Subeta day after day, month after month, year after year. Y'all are good folks.
