New Beta Quests: Manwar
Manwar is focusing hard on becoming a tabletop influencer, and needs a few things for his next podcast! Bring him podcast gear, video games, or a wig, and he'll pay you in sP and a trading card.

We've added 47 NPC trading cards, which you can only earn through Manwar's quest and trading card booster packs.

Manwar gives you one rarity 1-99 trading card per quest. There's a 20% chance he'll pick from the cards you haven't collected; the other 80% draws from the full pool, with less rare cards coming up more often. If you've already collected the older cards, the missing-card picks will be new ones. Once you've collected every rarity 1-99 card, every draw uses the full pool.

Cards in your inventory or vault don't count as collected, so remember to add them to your trading card collection. There are three new achievements, and every fifth completed quest earns you a QuestPoint.

@Keith not sure if it was just random chance or if those changes to weight haven't actually gone out yet but having had 5 total cards in my entire collection before, I did 5 quests and two of the cards were already in my collection about 10 minutes ago (a few hours after your recent post to the changes). Happy with the payment because trading cards aren't exactly my biggest cup of tea, but just seemed an odd turn out.

I had a complete trading card collection until now, and in eight quests, I only got one card I didn't have. A little disappointing, but the sP payout was good!

yay new cards! and a new quest that eats up some items that didn't really have any use, hoorah :3

yes thank you i noticed i haven't received any new cards for a long time. i received 2

Yesss, more quests AND more collectibles! I'm really enjoying the new quest system tbh. I wasn't sure about it on Kumos, especially with the lag I usually had on there, but it's working really well now imo.

You now always get these rewards:
And a chance with every quest (~1/5) to get a bonus card, which is always a card you do not have in your collection.
- sP at a much higher rate than the items you've turned in (it turns out being an influencer pays!)
- 1 trading card (with a slightly higher weight to ones that you do not have in your collection, taking rarity into account)
And a chance with every quest (~1/5) to get a bonus card, which is always a card you do not have in your collection.

Ok sorry to come back to this again but the post makes it sound like we're guaranteed a new card if we have all of the old ones. I had a complete collection and have now gotten two cards I already had in my collection, out of three quests - and only one new card. Can you clarify please @Keith if it is guaranteed to get a new card if you already have the old ones? Thank you!

I filled out the survey!
I like his quests, the items aren't expensive and new trading cards are fun :D

Ehehehehehehe, I love this! Added my two cents in the survey, since this kind of quest can get old quite fast to avid collectors.

21, nearly 22 years on this site. I am really
enjoying the changes to revitalize underused or
ununsed aspects of the game <3
