User Profiles V3 Testing
👋 Reminder!! I'm testing new user profiles ("V3") (check out mine for an example) that are easier to edit and customize. If you've got a custom profile it might take a little longer to translate to the new system, but there is a helpful guide here that walks through the new CSS techniques.
You can provide feedback in the survey on the preferences page, and this thread.
Even if you haven't edited your profile in years, the default is a lot more modern (or, 2022 at least) and you might even _want_ to give it a little tweak!

Going to be annoying and comment twice in a row since I forgot to mention this in the survey (and I already submitted it). Being able to do 3-4 colors in the gradient versus just two when customizing the background would be absolutely love.
I started playing with this version shortly after I came back last month and I have to say I really like it. I need to spend more time on it, but it felt much more modern and well...pretty than the older system. I think it's a nice bridge between those who don't know how to custmize with code very well, and those who are old pros. Everyone can make their profile look nice no matter their skill level.
could... could we have a balloon icon here? I mean there's a present and a cake and it's not a party without balloons...
whoa this looks really nice. what a facelift. in a way it is sad, since the old profile system has been around pretty much as long as i can remember. it's bittersweet, like NASA moving their astronomy photo of the day site to a more modern site after having the same HTML-only-based site since like 1995, which i grew up looking at over the years. it looks great and i'm excited to use it, but maybe i'll have to take some screenshots of the current setup for nostalgia's sake lol
I was just checking out the new widgets since I last looked! I'll check it out more in depth and see about any suggestions I can come up with.
P.S. I like this way more than Project Kumos so just a big thank you for this version of changes instead
