ABOUT TIME. Wonderful job, excellent looking chibis, all of them. I adore the Chibi Malticorn, it actually looks like a Chibi now! The other one was cute, but it really didn't appear to be a chibi rather than a chubby lilac. And the Tigrean re-line was good, but I honestly think it should have gotten a full revamp. The pose is just a little awkward... Cybill looks amazing. Wonderful job on all!

Meh ... I give up on it entirely now ... changed her into a dawn keeto (looks like it played in some pepto LOL) and eventually she will be angelic. That will work. I will have to say ... that the new one, while cute and childlike, it isn't how I veiw a chibi ... not nearly chunky enough nor are the eyes wide enough to be really a chibi by traditional sense, but I will say that the artist did good work on the chibi malticorn as it is well drawn and colored, even if I don't agree with the change.
Well, considering the kill on the malticorn, I hope they don't revamp the chibi feli as well. You'd never think something could look worse until it actually changes.<br />

Well, I have to say, and rather OT-but, the Chibi Feli has an originality to it that should be kept onsite. I don't personally care for it, but I'd hate to see it changed. nods

Or maybe they are that way because of the poofeh hair on it's brow, but it IS a cute pet, no doubt. Could it perhaps also be colored like the old one, even though the basic Malti IS that shade of blue, I realize. ^^
I look at it this way, if a pet I own gets a change, polled or not, I have the option of changing that pet's species/color or just having one of our many talented artists here draw me a piccy for sP/trade that goes on it's profile page to show everyone what I feel my pet looks like. It's not helpful to be angry over a change that is supposed will make folks happier to play Subeta. The staff surely is not having these drawn to irritate anyone.
I also hope some things stay the way they are and do not change, but it is an unrealistic point of view. Besides, Keith and the staff work their posteriors off to make this site enjoyable for all, and we DO get a lot of chances for feedback which other sites do NOT do. I'm deeply sadened by the change of the chibi malticorn,not sure why it needed such a drastic change.
What i liked about the old one was it's look of inquisitiveness, as if it was looking down at a bug on the ground, just like a child would.
The revamp looks a bit cross-eyed now.

Or just chibis in general? flicks meter I don't really like any chibis now... though I would never want to see my antlephore changed. I was in major awe a moment ago at the change in the malticorn... not admiring awe, clearly, but shocked awe at how something that I thought was securely done and perfect could be changed like that. And now I'm just depressed at the fact that I spent 650k to get my mom a chibi potion as a birthday present and now she has to zap it to get something that's actually cute. <img src=/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_sigh.gif border=0> sighs I'll have to avoid the site for awhile now.

When I think chibi I think cute, and yeah, pretty large heads... but the chibi feli is all head and balloons.
I can appreciate a good chibi, but the chibi feli just really needs to be revamped to put the cute factor in it, and some decent anatomy.

Uh... maybe because the feli looks like an anime-eyed bobblehead cat with an overly bloated head?
Forgot to note, the old chibi Malticorn looked waaaay to girly. The animals shoul have a non specific gender look to them. There would have been no good way to change any boy malticorn into a chibi, because the chibi made it look like it was girls only. Plus, it had different colors. The pets shouldn't have different colors from the original unless it's a specific theme, like Angelic, Graveyard, Dark Matter, etc. At least now the new chibi is back to it's original animal colors, the way it should be. ///

Wow...I'm not sure weather to say I prefered the old or new chibi malticorn. On one hand, the new malticron has better shading and lines. However, I supposed I prefer the old malticron because while the shading seemed to annoy me...it's not half as bad as the new one's face. No offence to the artist, the body lineart is splendid and the pose is adorable, but just the face itself makes the whole image annoying- I think it's something with the eyes. I'm not sure weather to say it won't grow on me though.
The tigrean hasn't changed to much...the new lines will take some getting used to. -pokes it-

The old Malticorn was much better in my opinion <img src=/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif border=0> It was so.. periwinkle.. Though the art is for the new one good, the head looks odd.

I think the next chibi to need a revamp is the ruffie. It's ears are too small, and it's head is too big.
NUU! My chibi malticorn. I have to say I like the old one better, becasue of the colors and girly-ness but I'm fine with the new one aswell.
I have to say, I was more fond of the older Malticorn than the new one, but the newer one is cute in its own. .sicken'y sweet sort of way, so I probably won't change Burakku anytime soon, I spent too much money on her and the chibi Malticorn now seems to suit her personality better that I think about it. I just wish it could have stayed the same colors.^^
