I would like to call to all the owners of reborn keetos to vote if we want our keetos this way, or if we want them back as they are.
I'm not so keen on the Keeto as I am with the Ontra (which I adore!), the Keeto is nice, but it doesn't seem to have the same "mood" as the other Reborn pets...if that makes any sense, I still like it though, just not as much as the old one.

I'm kind of on the fence for the Keeto. My only reservation is that the head looks like it isn't really connected to the body, but floating above the flames. And it looks a little large. I knew the day would come when it would get updated, as the art was old.... but yeah, I'm just 'eh' about the revamp. The artwork all in all is great... thanks guys!

What? Why did the reborn Keeto need to be changed? I absolutely adored it before! That's why I saved up forever to get a reborn potion. This one is worse. Way worse.
The new keeto seems to have lost its amazing touch. It had that majestic look, now it looks a bit...young, like the reborn tigrean. It tis nice work, don't get me wrong, but it just lost the strong, defiant touch it had.

The Ontra is well... An Ontra. I guess I like Ontras, but not enough to get one. I just never felt very strongly one way or the other about them, I guess. As for the Keeto... I liked the old one better. I loved how the old one had hair covering one eye. I loved how the old one's eyes had no pupils. I loved how the old one had a bit of a mustache. And I loved how the old one was drawn straight on. The angle made the old one unique. There aren't any other pets that I know of that have that same angle on them. Plus the straight on angle with the flames behind it always gave me the impression of this badass Keeto leaving the scene of the crime, and you wouldn't dare mess with it.<br />

And okay, sure. Maybe the old one looked a little outdated. But the whole thing was outdated, so the outdated Keeto matched the outdated flames. Now this one... The flames on the new one look more cartoony than the Keeto. The flames don't match the Keeto. They're like two completely different drawing styles melded together.<br />

The Ontra looks great, although the front leg in the air kinda looks awkward to me. After several minutes studying the new Reborn Keeto, it looks somewhat better. Personally, I'd have just left it alone.

I love the nightmare Ontra but the face of the Keeto has made it lose its alure. I really did like having the hair cover one of the eyes. I think if the artists redraw the face of the Keeto it will please everyone. The fire does look much better though.

Whoa, the Keeto is freaky. I loved the old one, even if it looked like plastic and had wonky anatomy. I always thought it needed a retouch, but not a revamp. I think if they had just cleaned up the lineart on the tail and mane and touched up the anatomy and fire it would have done wonders. I'm overall pretty disappointed with this revamp...<br />

Just read some comments, you're so right Saga - and the old reborn has features that look more like a wild cat.......I may change my montre to this keeto.....it's really growing on me.

Personally, I love the new revamped keeto...but I do wish the artist had covered the eye with hair as in the old reborn keeto.
While it's cool to see a new nightmare pet, I dislike the new Keeto. Though the Keeto has been done well the expression just doesn't seem to fit. The former reborn had a lot more personality in my opinion.<br />
It's still a nice job but it would be nice to see the Keeto redone again. XP

I liked the pose, how it was more sitting, and how the eyes were. The Ontra looks alright, but something about it's head is bothering me :/

All I believe is that the Keeto's head should be moved down a little, as if it's hunkering down to lunge. It'd give it that, "RAWR!"ness it needs!
Well...it's well drawn but I think it's too great of a departure from the old one. I think the head is too big and there are discrepancies between the perspective of the head and the body. I think the most jarring difference is the eyes. Rather thank blank, white and small they are large and have irises and pupils. Ohhhhh well. I'll just post on the forums to find the old one. <br />

I was extremely confused at first because my silly cache didn't update the image. I was like "...what update"? XD; But now that I see it, I rather like the update. it fits the "style" of Subeta. The other just didn't seem like a Keeto to me. o.o

I think the new one looks like some knock off of Flareon...but that doesn't draw back from the fact it's still a cool pet. Nightmare Ontra is sweet though!

And that said, ahem, I actually rather like the art for both of these pets. Though I prefer the nightmares I already have, especially the torrent, I don't know if there's any pet that will knock the nightmare torrent off the top of my list, ever <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif" border="0" /> I'm not sure why the keeto needed a revamp, though. There are pets out there in more dire need of revamps than the reborn keeto, like a lot of the angelics, and I'd rather have seen either a revamped or new angelic color. But, it's hard to say because I'm not sure how the pet species are split up among artists.
