I personally love the deflation going on (even when it affects my own items up for trade). Inflation has been going CRAZY for months on Subeta. What is the point of having something up for trade for an obcenely high price if no one wants to pay that price for the item (even if that's what everyone else has it priced at)? I have always hoped to see a complete end to the shop price limit altogether (both here and on other similar sites). As for trades, yes there is still a point: for actual TRADING (item for item). Buying and selling (for pure) is what I've always felt shops were for. As for auctions, those are supposed to be a way to get quick cash by auctioning for a lower price, in my opinion. So, for whatever my vote is worth: I think this is great! =3

Then you should be around at midnight. Some people price their tokens ridiculously low and snag from other shops when they lower their token price so they can sell off the tokens at a higher price<br /> And about being too lazy to check the price on your items... weren't you just complaining about not wanting to price your items by hand? I barely skim through my autopricer and was lucky to catch that an item that goes for 47k had dropped down to 40sp because of one user who had priced their shop before me.

It would take 100,000 people autopricing to deflate something as much as one person hand pricing would. I think I'd rather go with the autopricers deflation. If you're too lazy to check the prices on your UBs when you price them, then expect a few items to be in shops cheap. And I've also never seen a case where someone priced something cheap in their shop with the hopes someone else would autoprice and then snagging it.
I like it trades are a hassle.. esp waiting for the person to get back to you.. I guess I just dont get what the big deal is.. you can still stick your items in trades and wait til this is over to make the amount that you wanted.. or put it in the invy and wait..<br />

I feel I must add my complaint as well. I LOVED the increase to 250, made questing for pete a little easier. When the 500 limit came out, I suffered a lot of loss in pricing, like alot of other subetans. Now, A MILLION??? Thats just insane!!! Please, when you re-consider the shop limit, stick it to 250!!!
In the long run, if a lot of people keep on lowering it via autopricer, then that 1 sp will eventually accumilate because there's more than one person autopricing less by one per day.<br /> And also, someone could put a 1millsp item in their shop for..... 100-500k in the morning when people usually autoprice, and you have that same item in your shop. Without looking down, you autoprice and the other person snags it and puts it in their shop for 1millsp. Wouldn't that be a problem if autopricer for items over 1mill?

Doesn't seem like the best idea to me. An UB now has to be over a mil. with the 100k shop limit, you could sell for the right price, not the price that others make you pay, you can haggle and take items in exchange. much better with the 100k limit, though i suppose i would handle a 250k limit.

And it could be worse. There could be no autopricer and you could have to price EVERYTHING by hand.
Unfortunately, if a lot of people have the autopricer for items that high, the prices will go down much faster.<br /> And I don't think that 'morons' is the best word to use in the situation. I'm sure that since you are complaining about having to lower your prices to match their's, you thus lower your prices as well and continue with the trend<br /> If you want them to sell, price by hand. Things that expensive should NOT be affected by the autopricer.
So then what's the point of the autopricer if you can't use it to PRICE YOUR ITEMS IN YOUR SHOP? I honestly could care less if items under 100k could sell, but I'm tired of pricing 50 ubs everyday because I'm getting undercut 50-100k at a time. Autopricer doesn't cause deflation, morons do.

I have --no-- problem having items in shops up to 1mil, so long as they have to be hand priced. People undercut in trades, they'll do it in the shops too. everyone just needs to do what they do in trades, leave their prices alone if they feel they've dropped too much. just because the item is in your shop, doesn't mean you have to match the lowest price daily. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
I feel like I'm being cheated out of my autopricer use. Why would you update the shop limit EVEN MORE without updating autopricer? We pay monthly to use the autopricer, and now we can't take advantage of the new shop limit without hand pricing all of our items above 250k. I honestly don't care about shop limit, but me not being able to use autopricer is starting to piss me off.

I think this is a great idea. I've made a lot of sp with the 500K limit and spent a lot as well buying wishlist items. I'm guessing that items and sp are circulating again rather than just stagnating.

I don't think this is a bad idea at all. I mean if you have your item priced in trades for a million or less what are you losing...nothing. Price all your items that are 500-1 million in your trades at 1 million to start with that way if an undercutter comes than you still make points. OR you could just leave your items in trades and hope that they get sold. I mean you don't have to put your items in your shops, nobody is making you. I have items in my trades that I refuse to put in shops because I will not sell mine that cheap. I can wait it out. Everyone is talking about trades, but has anyone stopped to think about the fact that some users cannot even access trades properly right now. So this is a way for users to get things sold. You win some you lose some. Some like it, some don't.

Ehh. I think that having the limit raised is handy, since it's a pain in the you-know-what having a bunch of UBs and trying to sell them, when trades only has a limit of ten lots at a time. So, with the limit raised for shops, I can just put some of those items into my shop now, while keeping the more expensive items still in trades.

Im not too happy with this. The majority of things people held dearly as they took ages to get and were priced quite high have already fallen victim to the other limits. But a mill limit is a bit too much ^^ I didnt mind the last limit. Lets hope it doesnt mess everyone up ^^
