Well, Keith is known for his uber-computer geek trivias with awesome prizes. Looking at past trivias is how I got the spark of an idea of how to do it. Look at Trivia #3 GAH!

Wow, alot of negative comments! I myself got it wrong by my 1st comment. I have never in my life heard of a thing called 'text decoder' and I am an adult. Its called "Trivia" and also luck in some cases. I am not mad I got it wrong, I actually learned something i've never heard of so I win some sort of prize, knowledge <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif" border="0" /> We can't win them all so give the staff a break!
Drat I did try and google the last one.. but didnt know about the decoder.. thanks for telling us how it was to be done.. I thought it too was a pretty cool trivia!

The reason I went with the English version and not code for the answer is because special characters have messed up trivia answers in the past and figured the answer wouldn't have a = in it.

this will be an interesting one as the last one tried to make pudding of my cerebral cortex. i think i have this one.
That was defiantely an outside information needed format with a subeta related decifered question. The question should have stated that, and the format. Good thing I answered in English and not base64.
I loved the last trivia, even though I had no idea how to do it. XD I wanted to playset SOOOO bad, but honestly, the trivias would suck if they were all easy as cake and everyone got the prize.<br />

There'd be no point; they might as well call it 'Free Gift: The Sequel!' This way, the prizes are actually worth the work put into solving the problem.<br />

Plus, it's not like they're all like that. This one is more like a riddle, and I loooove riddles. c: It's nice to see varying styles and difficulties in the trivia.

How -exactly- do you 'guess as to the nature' of something you have NEVER heard of? If you told people where to start looking, it certainly wasn't in plain view for ALL to see on the Trivia Question page. ~.~

I was just looking at something and an idea came to me I'm wondering if my thoughts are correct. If not I'm going to submit my idea. Anyway I have a fair idea of what it's talking about after loads of thinking.

Wow, that last one was tricky, my brains on holiday and refuses to think. I knew it needed a decoder the second I saw it (experience with other trivia-types has taught me well). shrug Only part that bothered me was that it stretched off of the white part of the screen. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif" border="0" /> (I keed, I keed.) This next one is a right pain, though. Reminds me of that "greater than God, the poor have it, the rich want it," riddle. For whatever reason... I don't think it would have ever popped into my head to google programming codes. shrug And just googling the lengthy jumbled up mess doesn't get you anywhere. That's just me though?

OK, I suspect that the staff will hide behind technicalities (apparently all having grown up under the Former Occupant of the White House and learned the lessons of "it all depends on what the definition of 'is' is" far too well), but it does seem a bit odd that we get an answer in an editorial telling us we're not going to have to google in order to answer a question, and with the last trivia one had to either be an initiate into the arcane mysteries of programming, or head offsite to use google.<br />

The prior trivia is comparable to my posting a question about Subeta, but written in Latin and then the final copy produced via Leonardo's mirror-writing. Possible for some to figure out, but not with a level playing field.<br />
