We have had a small security problem tonight, and suggest that you change your password. If a friend is acting strange or unlike themselves, please report it to a User Admin.
Styles have been disabled until we solve this issue :)!
Notice: This is not a Subeta issue, but an issue with Firefox. They are supporting a CSS tag that allows cookie grabbing (not what it's supposed to do, of course, but abused it can). :(! There is very little we can do to prevent issues like this. Regardless, if you use FIREFOX, changing your password is a VERY GOOD idea. :heart:
Update: We have updated various areas of the site to stop this exploit from being possible. However, if you are using Firefox and have browsed Subeta in the past day, it's still a good idea to change your password. I'd also like to note, that this is not an excuse to go running back to Internet Explorer, which has just as many (if not more) exploits and possible problems :)

shivers wow, I didn't know it was this bad.. For a while I got the "config change, back in 5 mins", then later it said "5 internet mins", and then it showed the "MySQL is down" message, and I didn't go on again yesterday.<br />

Nope! No need to change browsers, we've already eliminated the problem (by removing style tags) and are working to solve the problem completely in the future (along with all other browsers, incase they incorporate this tag as well)
IrishJessie: There is a slight delay to get back onto Subeta after you change your password, I believe.
ChickenNoodleSoup: At the top of Firefox, it says 'Tools', and you click on that. Then you click 'Clear Private Data', and choose cookies from there<img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

Keith, is the Netscape browser (Mozilla engine) vulnerable like Firefox? And were the cookies only grabbed if you answered the bogus Trivia question? I.e., are you safe as long as you didn't answer the Kaos trivia question?
