Also as an art student I would like to say that your rude comments are far from crits. What ever happened to, "hey that looks nice, but next time try this" or "That is good, but try moving that leg up a little" No, all we see now are "OMG tat Lyke SUXs" No one said you HAD to like the revamp. Not everyone will. But try to be respectful to the artist that took the time and effort to make it. Some of you people are so ungrateful. And for you to call us ignorant is just proving yours! Apologizing and being more sensible and polite overall might be more helpful in your situation. You should especially apologize to the artist for being rude. You're aloud to say you don't like it. Just don't so it looks horrid (for that is just rude).

As an art student of 18 years, I must say that your line of thinking Blankie makes me sad. You as a student should know that such rudeness still hurts whether or not the artist shows it. Constructive criticism is just that, constructive. These are made to help an artist improve or have in mind for next time. Rude comments such as your repeated ones I know I would not welcome. I believe most of the subeta community doesn't welcome them. (from most I have talked to anyway) I don't see anyone liking them in real life either. I ask if you would, please keep rude comments to yourself. Now to the revamp, Great job Rah! I love them and so does my roommate who is reading over my shoulder. She wants one so I plan to help her get one. Keep up the good work.

And actually I've had people say much worse things about my artwork and really, I know that means its unsuccessful and I probably failed at my objective. I take things like that in stride, and let it better me as an artist. Ask anyone who's had formal art education, no one's trying to keep your feelings from getting hurt (=life).

As an art student in NYC, I know that every professional artist knows how to deal with crits. The artists on this site are well-groomed, talented creators, I am sure they can handle getting their feathers ruffled. I'm allowed not to like something, and I'm allowed to say so. There's nothing rude about disliking a subjective concept, such as illustration. <br />

I think they're just so puppyish and cute. That's the exact same expression of adoration I would expect to see from a dog. I think the new common color is really lovely, too - the blue and cream look nice together.<br />

I wish the common was still blue, though. The dusk one looks like what I imagined the common one to be. Or at least get rid of the blue spots on the new common one, since they don't go so well to the brown.<br />

I agree that an artist has to take constructive criticism. It just seems there are a lot of OMG I HATE THIS comments on this one. Blankies4 had some explanation as to why she didn't like it but then went off to say that everyone was stupid if they liked it. And then there are comments where people just say that it's the worst revamp and offer no explanation why.<br />

Thank you for the great revamp, I absolutely love my ruffie. He was nice before but now he's adorable. Kudos to the artist.
I just noticed how amusing the Glacier one’s expression is when I was looking through the Ruffie's colors. XD Rah, you aren't changing the Galactic or the Glacier, are you? Because I don’t think either of those colors have been redrawn yet in any of the revamps since the art is so pretty and shiny.

Hmm, the Ruffie actually looks like a real dog now. XD Like a cocker spaniel almost. I like the marking particularly.<br />

But yeah, like others have said, use an elixir if you dislike the revamp so much. :/ If you liked the original Ruffie more, then find a picture of it before it was redrawn (MinionMatch is a good place to look), and post the image on your pet's profile. I have several pets that I liked the original version of more, so that's what I did (and I actually paid millions of sp to potion them, too, so that would have been a pretty valid reason to complain had I done so).
