Wow!
Well, this has been an interesting day or two, no? Apparently the "owners" over at Subeta.org feel that if they put their hands over their eyes, things will just go away. They can take away all of the social aspects of the site, and users won't notice that things aren't right.
They're wrong, and don't give users enough credit. The entire time they've been with Subeta, one thing that has been shown over and over is they're lack of understanding in loyalty. They didn't understand how loyal the users would be to me in this situation, and they didn't think that certain staff members would be loyal after all that has happened.
More than anything, they don't understand the trust users have in me, and how long it takes to earn that. I have nothing but your best interests, and that of Subeta, when I think of what to do next. While this is my living, and it's my job, it also means the difference to more than a thousand people daily. They come here before they do other things, they talk to their friends on Subeta, they dress up their avatar, they battle with their pets (sort of o_o). The only way those two over at Subeta.org see users is as giant dollar signs, that can be replaced right when one goes away.
That's why I know, even if it'll be hard to pay the bills this month, or if we have to take out a business loan to pay those bills, you will still be behind me, and the real Subeta. I hope that you don't feel like I treat you like paper bills, that are only here to pad my bank account - because you aren't (or I'd be driving the corvette I want :(!). You are all very, very important and special to me.
Now, right now there are a lot of problems with this situation. While the dictators over at Subeta.org have the domain, that is all they have. We have the staff members, the artists, the writers, the user admins, and the users. We have the community.
They are trying to hold out and create a hostage situation (ie: extortion. Highly illegal :P) in hopes that I'll crumble to all of their (insane) demands.
I hope that you understand that all of this was for the best of Subeta, and for us to more forward.

Guys please please please for the sake of my sanity pass to your friends the site was not ";hacked"; They already had access to the site and had their own servers. Hackers are soooooo much more intelligent then these idiots. While what they are doing is HIGHLY annoying everything is safe, passwords are safe, accounts are safe, and Keith is taking care of it legally. Hopefully well get the last laugh when they see jail time <img src="http://67.225.157.254/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> What they are doing like it mentions in the news is HIGHLY illegal. You notice at the bottom of the page at subeta.org it STILL says copyrighted to Keith Kurson. Well I guess they feel they can take the thousands of art and copyrighted material and claim it as their own and display it as they choose. Well news to them they are gonna end up in a lot of trouble.
I think this might perk my interest in subeta a fare bit more.

Yikes! Subeta.org said that these are just rumors, while subeta.ws says that Subeta.org has been seized..or something. What the HELL is going on?! Why are comments blocked from subeta.org? How did they get ahold of the site? Hackage? More importantly, is this the work of Anon?

I think another thing that they have overlooked is the fact that a vast majority of the users still on .org are only staying because of the glitches and exploiting them to the finest. One of my friends was banned after generating 500+mil of fake gold (she was making it just for the fun of it), most likely to try to prove that people are not -causing problems- and that everything is presentable. It is havoc over there...total chaos...
I appreciate what you have done to try to save the users and their belongings. Nothing is being done over on org except for shoving propaganda down their throats or banning them to get them out of the way.

Yes, I`d always know that subeta was a wonderful community! I`d love the wonderful drawn pets and the completely freedom we have to design our spheres here like our Profiles, Forum signatures, shops etc.I`d love that I do not have to fear to loose my account just because I`m talking witch my friends about non-Subeta themes. But know, after you told us, that we are so important for you, I am absolutely sure that this site deserves all the affection I have for it!
