On December 15th starting at around noon EST, we will begin clearing pet names and account names that have been inactive. Frozen accounts inactive for 10 months will be cleared, and non-frozen accounts inactive for a year, will be cleared.

tfsr: computers aren't always available for use (for the most part they'll only let you use them if the entire class needs them for a project), unfortunately, and the name is a pretty common name irl so i'm afraid it'll be snapped up before i get home. not like the odds are totally against me, though.

yeah, since the new 'stealth' mode thing happened, all accounts that haven't been on since then remain in 'hidden' status. It's a little irritating.

I wish there was a way the user that will get their account cleared to have their "Hidden" last seen changed so people can see if they have been on. All the names I want for a pet, the owners have "hidden" as their last seen lol. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to hope for the best.
