Thanks blaGue for explaining a little better! That's a great way of doing it, really. I voted right on the half hour so hopefully I can just remember to pop on around :30 each hour and keep voting! Fun!
I like the system as well, I just wish we could look at all the entries between the voting period. =(

Doh, I get it now. Explanation in case anyone is slow like me: The set of entries each person sees is different. The timer for each person is also different (basically, you set your own timer based on when you vote. The entries refresh when your timer expires). Thus, the times the entries are displayed don't matter since it's (I assume) random and different for each person. Yeah, if you're unlucky and only 100 people vote at 3 am in the morning and yours in that set of (well now I don't know how many are displayed each time, like 20?) 2000, then that's that, but you aren't assigned to a specific time slot.
If you get on more, you get to see more rounds and vote more. If you only get on twice, you only get to see two "rounds".

Now I feel like a dipshit for waiting to perfect my costume. I forgot to submit it last night because I had to sleep early for work and now I completely missed out! How flippin lovely.

I got a repeat entry in my second round, same dude that was in the first round, exact same ref pic and everything. That's an awfully big coincidence.

I'm now worried about the desc I entered. none of my choice had descriptions (that I saw anyways...maybe I"m missing something here), but mine way kinda long.

If I am sufficiently unimpressed by the choices I am given that I don't want to vote for any, do they still refresh after an hour?
Has anyone been able to figure out if we're all seeing the same set at the same time, or if it's random? A few people pointed out it might be less fair to users who get shown at certain times, but if it's random/different for everyone, then I do like this system <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />

That was a hard choice to pick just one. I had two that were really well done.
However, I'm glad I included a reference pic even though it is in black and white lol I don't even think there is any official artwork in color for the armor of the character I'm cosplaying.

Also, it looks like the counter counts down from 1 hr from when you voted.
