Braintree Payments

We\'re launching a new method of taking payments in the Cash Shop called braintree. You can pay with credit card (including cards from over 130 countries) and use paypal.
To celebrate the launch we\'ve created a temporary currency that you can use in the Braintree Bonus shop for the next week only to purchase old cash shop bonus (stripe and paypal!) items. You earn 1 point for every $5 you purchase using braintree!
This bonus will end on Monday the 19th at 11:59PM.

@DryadGurrl Up to 5 minutes.
@grelca ~ Yes, I did receive a notification, it did go through ~ :) ~
Ahh...alright, I understand now, thank you for your clarification ~ ^.^ ~

How long does it take for Braintree Bonus Points to register in my account? The shop is still saying I have 0 even though I just purchased CSC.

@amicorn i'm positive that there is, i will look into the documentation on it and add the option when i can!

@Amicorn Unfortunately, no. If it makes you feel any better, we don't actually have that information, Braintree (owned by paypal) is the one that stores it, we ping them and they display your information, we never see any of it. :)

Once you've added a payment method - is there a way to remove it? I didn't realize it would save and not be able to be removed. I don't feel comfortable with any site keeping my information saved & prefer to enter it in every single time.

Just a note, braintree IS paypal and credit card payments, so if you use either of those you will get the bonus.
@Hamda right. because paypal is being processed through braintree now :)
@Me-Guru (do the bracketed pings work in the news? guess i'm about to find out!) it will only be processed through paypal if you choose to pay through paypal (ie use the paypal button and not the credit card form below it). prepaid debit cards should work.

@grelca Okay, I was just confused because the button was missing xD I'll just leave it alone for now then, thank you c:

I'm a bit confused? I understand that we are able to use credit cards that are available in different countries. Does this include prepaid debit cards as well, and will everything be processed through Paypal?

ok so just to make sure. I use paypal and I get the braintree thingie? I don't have to enter my CC number?
@Darkrai we're still using stripe for subscriptions, so that's why the option is still there. you can continue to use your saved stripe card for now (the button just got added back, that was my fault!), but we will eventually be replacing stripe subscriptions with braintree subscriptions, at which point the only thing you'll be able to do with stripe is cancel an existing subscription.

Okay, so I already had my card information saved through Stripe. I'm still seeing a "Remove Card" button. Is my information still stored or do I need to save it again?
dollar why you must be so expensive
this is so very nice! unfortunately I can't spend 20 bucks on 500csc
