Fireside 2017
It’s time to gather around the bonfire in Veta Lake to celebrate the harvest! Gather up Red Rreign items floating around and offer them up to the bonfire - you might come away with something special! Be careful about throwing in the wrong items though, you could end up seeing a little bit of the Red Rreign's less relaxed side!
The Red Rreign is rewarding items not only from this year, but also items from previous years like old books and collectible items.
Fireside will last until 11:59pm on November 30th.
Make sure to stop by and donate any extra food you might have that I can give to the less fortunate. I’ll try to reward your generosity!
Hold on to your pumpkins for now, Fantine will be requesting them a little later into Fireside!
Don’t forget to make a harvest potion or two using the bonfire while you can. Who knows what harvest pets will pop up this year!
The Capture a Floating Rreign, Charitable, and Item Giver achievements all have new tiers!

He snakes his neck forward and breathes a stream of fire, burning your Ornate Floral Pitcher to ash!

@breIoom abaven got the bulk of it -- you turn in floating items to the rreign in return for his holiday items, any food to charity for her holiday items, and when fantine opens back up at some point, she'll ask for pumpkins for her holiday items. there are achievements for all three of those activities, plus one for just collecting the floating items as you browse the site. it's also the only time of the year you can make a harvest potion (make a glade potion with the the ornate floral pitcher and offer it to the rreign's bonfire).
if you don't have him unlocked, bandit will steal a few of your offerings to the rreign before you get him as a coliseum opponent (but only like three or four, and then the rest of your offerings are safe), and if you give the rreign "wreathed" items (i.e., the beanbags and such he gives back to you), he'll get angry and try to burn you and your inventory (there's an achievement for that, too).
theme aside, it's a pretty chill holiday :)

Someone may come around and correct me later, but from my years of Fireside experience, it's basically a floating item event. Collect all the plushies, beanbags, and stickers you see pop up, and to get extra special versions of those items, you visit the bonfire. Throwing the items in could result in "wreathed" form of the items. Though sometimes the item gets stolen by a random event, so it's a hit or miss.
As for Charity, donating food items can randomly get you event-limited items as well.
Fireside is nothing like Morostide as far as participation goes, but it's a fun and more laid back holiday. Hope that helps some.

You toss the item into the bonfire, but before it can be consumed by flames, a laughing jollin leaps forth and grabs it. He's gone before you can react.
Having received no offering, the Red Rreign does not materialize.
....I'm gonna go beat up a jollin. >:T

Ah!!! I am so excited, thank you for all the cute and amazing items!!! I love the smoke cape, it layers perfectly with this months collection theme. I was wondering when (if) we would see more smoke items on site. I hope there will be more TS or other smoke related items not included within bonfire though too. The smoke theme is too amazing to only have a few items!! LOL
Q: Is this the first and only wave of bonfire items, or will there be a second wave outside of Fantine (which I am so excited for!)?

Damn, yeah, it's a shame that you can't burn the Morostide effigy items. I know they're not red rreign items, but they have the exact same description all hinting at burning.
I was hoping there would be an achievement or a special reward! I held onto all of mine.

Not able to burn the effigy items from Morostide, so their descriptions still confuse me. :c
But I do appreciate the Rreign giving out older items this year! I think I'm missing quite a few of the older plushies ~

@ciiaramist No, you don’t get something every time. :) You have a chance of getting an item every time you donate, not guarantee
@Marlboro When the holiday was pushed, the floating was still set to be a bit rarer. I pushed a change for that, but changes take about ten minutes to hit the site. :)
