I see I'm not the only one who thought they were a new pet and was ready to slam the create-a-pet button. ;-;
In future events, more lower/mid tier opponents would be a rad addition, if you can. Getting locked out out most of the opponents because you aren't a high high level kinda sucks.
Oh my god I honestly thought for a second that they were finally adoptable pets. One day...
The first one was easy but the second one is brutal and I can't beat him. Not even close.
So far I am able to beat the Decayed Pylot 7 times. I will work on him later. Nice loot. At least for me. This is the first time I have battled the Pylots.

you'll do better than my poor tier 4, that's for sure! my tier five got a win and uses a pretty budget set. (i haven't tried past that yet; i need to battle with my primary pet first.) mrcool might've done a pylot guide, but i haven't gone looking since i don't need it x:

Adding my voice to the hopeful chorus that one day we will be able to adopt a Pylot instead of just kicking one while it's down.
Same as everyone else thought goody pets but.... well I managed first 3 with ease the 4th bastard keeps stealing or breaking my stuff, Loco just can't beat him for the 5th time and it's too damn costly to keep healing him so guess we'll wait for another year lol, awesome stuff guys friggin' awesome!

@jensen Oh yea I peeked at the stats for the wrestling guys earlier this month, I'm really excited to be able to fight them!! And I'd been thinking about posting to battle chat, but I was worried bc I'm such a noob when it comes to battling LOL. I'll try to peek in sometime tho! I've mostly only been reading the stuff that's still relevant from MrCool's battle guide and it's been immensely helpful for Battle Quests. :) But yea like... I've never even used scrolls... I get the feeling I'm missing out :sweat_smile:
Oof. I got Decayed Pylot down a fair bit then it criticalled me. I'm going to have to try with different weapons this weekend.
For those worried about the big jump in health from Wary to Peeved, as long as you can handle its strength you should be okay. It'll just take you a little longer to beat it than if everything was balanced.

hehe, not really, i just ask lots of questions in the battle chat. feel free to post there if you have questions, i find everyone to be very helpful! 8)
if we're lucky, we'll get a second round of challengers (the wrestlers) with one more easy one for everyone to take on :) in the meantime, make sure to go for 10 wins so you get all the experience you can, and keep reading lots of books so you have AP for lots of scrolls!

I'd appreciate if there was not THAT much difference from the Wary to the Peeved. There could be a medium-statted between the two. I can't buy fancy weapons and don't think my battle pet can handle that Peeve dude. Yikes!

The loot is not new. And the original post says retired achievements, but there's only one (with two tiers).

I am happy and sad to see these Pylots. I am happy because I am able now to fight some of the harder ones, but sad because like others I thought it was a potential new pet of these guys. They are just so cute.
Can someone please confirm for me WHERE the (still retired) acheievements are? I looked through my pandemic achievements and it looks like I'm not missing anything but I just want to know if I need to be bummed or not lol
