OMG. I used to looooove this movie and quoted it all the time with my little sister when we were growing up. As soon as I read the reference I squeed like a young fan girl LOL.

@Linnet The statement "...if you want to wear pants" is something that only someone who doesn't make masculine avatars would say, and when I look at your shared avatars page, I do in fact only see female-presenting avatars wearing skirts, pants and animal booties.
While kilts are a thing, and there are definitely men who do wear skirts, in most science fiction (the look this set is going for) the majority of men wear pants, the occasional short "skant" ST:TNG uniform notwithstanding.
Therefore, a lot of us are really irritated when SBQ sets are overwhelmingly geared toward female avatars.
As @Muerte pointed out, SBQ sets tend to have really unique colour schemes that can be difficult to match with other items. While I am usually dressed as my main, very feminine OC when you see me around the site, I love making male cosplay and contest avatars. It's even more annoying for players who strongly identify as male and don't want to make female avatars at all than it is for me.
Why don't you try making a really masculine male avatar with this set and see for yourself how it goes? There are definitely other items that might match colourwise, but how well do they go with the aesthetic? Just give it a shot. I'd like to see what you come up with.

It'snever almost never because people want to wear a full set. Speaking as someone that has often noted I wanted pants it's mainly for two reasons:
1. I want pants that match the sets colors and patterns. Especially since most sets don't match other stuff and have more unique colors.
2. The site tends to overlook more masculine-leaning HA makers. It's not as bad as it once was, but sometimes... Sometimes we're just ignored for extended periods of time.

Oh cool maybe it will be like Zenon or Protazoa style outfits! previews em Oh...what could of been. A few bits are nice, the rest feel like the cyber punk stuff from last years masquerade.
These are nice and I'd like some, but I do hope we get another Royale line soon because there's only one so far. Maybe that will be next?
Do people actually wear entire Subeautique sets at a time...? I don't see any reason you can't just wear pants with this, if you want pants.

Aaa it's all so pretty. Though my first thought upon seeing the Princeless Ingot was "Finally! Eridium for Borderlands 2 fanpets!" even though I have exactly 0 Borderlands 2 fanpets
The new set has a cool aesthetic, but I'm really disappointed at the lack of masculine-leaning clothing. Obviously clothing has no gender and everyone can wear whatever they want, but that doesnt mean that a guy wearing this outfit would have a hard time being read as a guy. Like just some pants or shorts would be nice?

I love this, I just wish it had leggings or pants. It's a pretty androgynous outfit aside from the skirt, I'm definitely sad it's femme-leaning. I'm going to have to get a couple pieces from it, though I won't use the whole set I guess.

This is awesome. But I can't wait for old subq to retire. In a month the oldest set in there will be 3 years.
I really like the overskirt and the technological bits, but I swear I saw that layered t-shirt and miniskirt in the junior's section at Wal-Mart 4 years ago.
