@thercery if people can educate themselves as to the difference between sex and gender, they can find out (very easily, I might add) that hey, some people live their lives in very different ways. Here's hoping stuff gets fixed soon. I'm on my fourth attempt at pricing my darn shop, kissing is a pain and the forums are gone.
@ChibiStraws as someone who grew up on the internet, i know how harmful it can be to be exposed to adults who are overly flagrant about their sexual practices - who may even bleed over into some extremely unhealthy practices.

How long does it take to get to stage one? I bought the smoke virus at 1130 PM last night and see no signs YET...don't know if stage 1 is hiding under clothes potentially :(

Just like yesterday - 6 hours earlier, though - it won't let me finish battle quests. Today I'm only on Level 2 instead of 22.

The site always gets glitchy during the first couple of days a holiday event starts. I knew it would only be a matter of time, I was surprised the site, forums, and kissing were all functional for the first few hours of Survival, this is a new record. And if anyone's mad at me or anyone else for "jinxing" it, I just wanna say, not our fault, we knew this was gonna happen. I hope the forums aren't down for days, I wanna see when we reached stage 2 of our strains, and if anyone's reached stage 3 yet, how long it took to progress, and what the other strains look like on stage 2.
When things are working again could we get a Heroku monster with a long tail to murder in the battledome?
Goodness this is putting a 'strain' on research (bad pun is bad). I hope Bug and the others are doing alright, the stress of all the forums going down like this for so long must be horrible. In the mean time I guess I'll just keep working with the samples I have right now and what I can pick up from a few others who have manages to reach the SCDC table. Sheesh, what a mess. In the meantime everyone please be careful and stay healthy, and if you're experiencing symptoms of sinus pressure, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, coughing, or spitting up mucus; that's not connected to the strains and is probably an allergic reaction to the mold spores in the Underground, take some antihistamines before going down there.

I worry about the length of this event now that we can't access biting links. Some of those older strains take a long long time to infect naturally.
It was already going to be a close squeeze to get 4 strains in, assuming you were infected quickly at start. :/
