Blacklight Pets
It's a party in the Cash Shop! It looks like someone turned off the lights and brought a black light! Spectrum pets look a little bit different, but the effect is stunning! If you purchase a Blacklight Potion, your pets can look like this too! So far there are seventeen pets available in this color; these are the anyu, archan, bovyne, bumbus, cadogre, chai, feli, keeto, kerubi, kora, mallarchy, malticorn, montre, priggle, terracoon, tutani, and wyllop! Which is your favorite?

@Rayven; for an overlay, you can do what you want, but glowing colors on a black pet=/=infringement. If they were ripping off the colors and design from a character, sure. But these are called BLACKLIGHT pets. And. after a little searching, Icouldn't findanything about Blacklight being copywrite to anyone, other than the chemicals that are used within the lights themselves, and not the colors or patterns beyond what already exists in media, such as the specific patterns used in A View to Kill.<br />And besides, if subeta was worried about 'copywrite' laws around blacklight, the very name 'Blacklight' would be the last thing on their list to use. It would be like calling a color 'Pokemon' or 'Zelda' but making the pets look slightly different from things in pokemon/Zelda by fading out a few colors.
It's a neat idea and all, but the poses being the same as for the Spectrum pets seems a little... Well, lame. I do hope that whenever revamps occur for these pets, the poses are changed in this color.
I'm really pissed at this, sorry.

But @Pie; that's just it. Special poses are intended to be special, and these are... really simple to make, to put it lightly. The other potions available for cash are really worth it. One gives a unique pet unlike others around the site, and the MP I&II give you any color you want, or the ability to morph a pet into any one you want, which can also be very useful. This really just gives a bland five-minute recolor of a special pose that is supposed to be unique for a certain potion, which someone could get very easily for a lot less on the art forums or just make themselves with gimp. The thing with other special pose pets is that the artists do put a lot of effort into posing and designing them and don't just go about recoloring things like other pet sites, then expect you to shell out a good but of money for. This... really doesn't cut it, (And they really don't look like they're 'blacklight' pets, as the colors would be more glow-y), and, as @Xiria mentioned, people with overlays very similar to this are not going to be happy, as they probably won't get to use them.
o.o Wow. You could say it was just a cheap adjustment with the spectrum potion, but there is a certain charm about this color. I don't know why, but there is. The Keeto looks cool. But I almost wish there was more splashes of color for some of the others. But I guess that's up to the artists and overlay-ers to improve upon that one. It's a nice change of pace anyway.
Personally? Not my cup o' tea. Then again spectrum never was my favorite either, but I'm sure this will appease a LOT of Subetans even if it doesn't do it for me. Sooooo, yay for other people?

Even though these are basically recolours, I like them a lot better than the pure white spectrum pets for sure; Nice choice, artists.

These are really nice! I don't think I'll be getting one, since I prefer white + rainbow over black + rainbow (probably 'cause I love lighter colors xD), but it's nice that we have the option now, and some of these are just gorgeous on so many levels. I think when it comes to CSC we get a pretty good bang for our buck given I know a good many sites that cost more and offer less in terms of what they offer. I have overlays for most of my pets, it's not about the overlay, I could very easily do something very similar to this if I wanted, given I work with Digital Manipulation as an art form all the time.
I love the pose of most of the spectrum pets but if I can give a bit of extra money to site that has given a lot back to me over the years vs an overlay I could do for free, I'd much rather spend the cash, given for a chance I can.

Sometimes I wish overlays weren't even an options because in times like this instead of praising the new colour you get people yakking about overlays.

@Rayen; it's not the fact that it's a pet, it's the fact that it's a cash shop pet. Something people will spend real money on. I couldn't care less if people get one of these, but there is hardly any effort or creativity in the pet. It's just a spectrum with the base color darkened and hardly worth it. Personally, I like the Archan, but only because it's a Spectrum Archan. It would have been a decent idea if they had been given their own poses for the cash. I mean, we're in the middle of a 'back to school' sale, so the cash shop prices are lower now, but this still isn't really worth the bang for your buck.
...I think these are cool, but I wouldn't spend CSC for something I could just overlay myself. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_xface.gif" border="0" /> I would totally own one if I didn't have to pay CSC. They're very pretty though.
I'm a bit confused why you'd pay over 500 CsC for a simple overlay edit that could/would cost less than a mill.
I guess I'm glad a lot of people are happy with them though, since in the end that's usually what matters most lol. Supply, Demand, etc, etc.
