I wasn't supposed to wind up planetside. As a 4th class scout, my assignment was orbital observation only. No landing, no interacting with the native creatures of this planet, no capture-study-release runs. Those were all assignments for 3rd, 2nd, and 1st class scouts. I was supposed to spy from space and simply observe...but...things didn't exactly work out like that. It was all that stupid, inferior Subetan satellite's fault!! It just came out of nowhere and crashed into me head-on!! Sure, I was playing video games and piloting at the same time...but we Popokonians are superior multitaskers! It was all that stupid satellite...

The next thing I knew, I was knocked off course. My engines were damaged and failing fast. 50%...40%...25%... I tried to pull up, to get back into a sustainable orbit at least, but the stupid ship just wouldn't respond! As I plummeted through the atmosphere, I thought I was going to die. My ship was starting to break up, the port side engine exploded, the cockpit burst into flames, my life flashed before my eyes... Well, OK, more like the emergency landing procedure video, but my older brother stars in it. He's one of the greatest pilots in our star fleet, he honors our family with his very existence...and I want to do that as well. I thought those hopes would be dashed soon, what with me crashing to this planet any second and all. Then, I felt the jolt as my ship hit the ground. I was flung out of my seat, against a wall...then, there was blackness.

I woke up on something soft, to the sound of a male voice speaking. When I opened my eyes, everything was blurry and I thought I had died and gone to the Firma'athgal Plains. When everything came into focus, though, I didn't see my ancestors crowded around me...but a group of Subetans! I was alive, and these strange creatures had saved me. Beside me was the Montre called Ulfengi, who had used a power known to these creatures as "magic" to heal my wounds. Then, the Velosotor called Lirabelle placed another pillow behind my head and asked if I wanted a thing called "tea." I didn't know it then, but it's a popular beverage of this world made of leaf broth. When I looked right in front of me, though...I saw the most gorgeous creature I'd ever laid eyes on! He was a Celinox, very tall and built like a GOD with the most wondrous long hair!! This was the one known as Vincent. He had pulled me from the wreckage of my ship...which was now hidden away in the garage of this dwelling.

After drinking some of the substance known as "tea" and being left alone to rest, I decided I might as well stay a while. My ship was heavily damaged, after all, and I had no means of surviving on this savage world on my own! Besides, the information I could gather on these Subetans by living among them could be extremely useful to the Empire!! We could take this pitiful world with ease knowing all of the Subetans' weaknesses! That and...there is Vincent...
