Good evening, guests of the Revolution Masquerade.



I have completed my questioning of User not found: jules yun, User not found: isaac yun, User not found: adriette lockwell, User not found: victoria ventura, User not found: marcel martenez and User not found: garret fox, and they have been released from holding. However, I am embarrassed to admit that I am stumped by their stories regarding the murder of User not found: vernon yun. Embarrassed, but my dedication to solving this case is unshakable. The murderer will be found.



This is why I am asking for your help. I would like you to do a bit of "under cover" work for me, if you will. These people are more familiar with you, having spent the evening sharing hors d'oeuvres-- I guess I did learn something from Adriette!-- and drinks and dances with you. I encourage you to mingle with the suspects, get on their good sides, and see what you might find out. In the meantime, I will be in the South Antechamber reviewing my notes. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

This is User not found: inspector thorpe again, of the Ziara City Police Department, and I am here to bring you all up to speed on the investigation into the murder of User not found: vernon yun. As you can imagine the interview process is a slow one, if one hopes to be thorough. The good news is that I have narrowed the list down to a few key individuals. For the time being, User not found: jules yun, User not found: isaac yun, User not found: victoria ventura, User not found: adriette lockwell, User not found: garret fox and User not found: marcel martenez have been sequestered to a private room for continued questioning. I am confident that I am close to solving this case.



Since this is an ongoing investigation, and I may need to speak to any of you at a moment's notice, I ask that you remain in the ballroom for the time being. Thank you for your cooperation.

It looks like the rumor mill is in full swing at the Grand Ballroom since the murder of Vernon Yun. Subeta's elite are gossiping about what they saw-- or think they saw-- when the Masquerade went dark.

Upset that winter is over, the Ice King is scouring Subeta looking for people to fight. If he finds you... well, I hope you have the ability to defeat him!



Note: This is a new type of opponent, that challenges you from a random event. He will not become part of your challenger list when you find him.

Good Evening.



I am User not found: inspector thorpe of the Ziara City Police Department. There has been a violent crime perpetrated this evening. The guest of honor, the inventor User not found: vernon yun, has been murdered in a chamber adjoining the ballroom, and I have reason to believe that the culprit is still among us.



Key figures for this investigation have been detained, however anyone in this hall may be a witness to the crime. I request that no one leave the building until we have been able to interview them. My men are doing a sweep of the rooms and securing the doors at this very moment.



With your assistance, I hope to have this resolved as soon as possible. If you have any facts about the crime committed here this night, please feel free to bring them to my attention.

This just in! The Masquerade celebration on Atebus was interrupted today when the power went out to the entire Grand Ballroom. Dancers have been confused, seeking out any figure of authority in the dark to learn what is going on. I've been instructed by the Master of Ceremonies to tell everyone to remain calm. The main generator in the ballroom is rather old, and this is likely just a momentary outage. Ballroom technicians are investigating the problem, and they expect the lights should return very soon.



In the meantime, guests are encouraged to continue dancing with care. There is just enough natural light to keep the celebration going.

Today marks the beginning of the Revolution Masquerade on Atebus, and there has been no shortage of feathers, jewels, flowers and finery as the elite society of Atebus and Subeta alike gather together to celebrate. This year, however, is an even more special occasion than in years past as the esteemed inventor, scientist, and architect, Vernon Yun, has finally accepted the invitation offered to him by the Ziaran Council! As all of Subeta gathers either in the Grand Ballroom or to watch the opening ceremonies broadcast in their homes, you can almost feel the anticipation. The whole world seems to be holding its breath waiting to greet and thank this man for his many contributions and accomplishments.



As always, the Libertine Lounge and Steamworks Menagerie are both offering you the finest of refreshments and attire to make your Revolution Masquerade more memorable than ever before. Both have promised to continue filling their shops with new, exciting stock throughout the celebration as well, so keep checking back!

We are currently testing the new Battle Coliseum! You may have noticed you have the options to put your weapons in your armory. This is the new location for all of your weapons, so you should remove the weapons currently attached to your pets and move them to your armory :).
