Quest-A-Thon: YOU DID IT
Prizes will be going out in the next week or so. We’ll have a news post happen once we finish getting those prizes out. :)

Our 14th Anniversary is Monday! While we won’t have a large celebration, we’ve got a few things cooked up.

Awesome job everyone.
I am thrilled that you all achieved the quest goal. Congratulations! But I am saddened that Subeta’s anniversaries (birthdays) are no longer fantastic. I've been a member for so long, I feel like each year here on site is special. But each year is celebrated a little less than the one before. May I ask why? I know I've contributed monetarily for years. Has the majority of the Subeta Team lost interest in us? :(
Congrats everybody! This is the most I’ve ever contributed to a questathon, hahaha :) it was worth it! Super excited for all the upcoming stuff this week!!
In the past didn't they usually have floating anniversary bags? Or am I thinking of something else. And no thanks on the RS war, I never have time to RS stuff. Looking forward to the holidays (except the pirate holiday since it's just frustrating instead of fun, sorry). Waiting for Morostide and Luminaire. ;)
i feel horrible about this one, personally. the lag killed me a lot. but congrats everyone <3 and never got to do a restock war, so that would be interesting.
id love a restock war granted there are things to do for people that cant restock
i love restocking and seeing points rack up from good restocks was SO REWARDING TO ME

Please don't get me wrong, the quest-a-thons are always a spectacle and I enjoy them. And I know we take breaks in between them but it'd be nice to change it up again every now and then.
I for one appreciate all the staff has done and continue to do to keep us entertained. I know a lot of times you're met with negatives no matterbwgat you do and I'm not trying to make things negative. More like support in @METROID 's suggestion.

I think it just means that they restock with about the same frequency and the rarities restock depending on the rarity number is the same for each shop.
Paw Naturel is brand new and everyone is trying to get those items right now, so it's empty because people buy out the whole shop. Older shops with old items that people aren't scrambling to get don't get bought out completely, so the items will just sit there until the shop clears on its own (whenever that happens).
Same thing with the Pirate shop. Since it's only open for like a week, people stalk it all day and buy out all of the items pretty much as soon as it restocks. The best way to get items from that shop is if you refresh right when it stocks and you can get a couple of items each time if you're fast.

@jensen - me too, that's the only reason I have everything I wanted! :) And like I said, this is something I'm pretty good at.
@Amber - if the restocking algorithms are the same for every shop, why is Paw Naturel empty so often, and why is Freyalise almost always empty when it's open? I wonder about that the same way I wonder why items that are of "normal" rarity that are fairly new are seen so much less frequently than other "normal" items are.

@Valiska Restocking algorithms are the same for all shops, so no there won’t be an adjustment. :) Carl will have a chance to give out pirate themed items during the holiday via his quests for those that can’t restock

Crossing my fingers that Keel Hauliday will still function as it always has. I'm always scared they'll kill the shop after they gave the Holiday shop the axe... I miss my restocking holidays. T__T
with the extra day AND the last stretch boost it felt rather like overkill... but its nice to be heard and understood by an administration. especially with school starting back and getting back into the tedium of homework and bedtimes and everything, AND all the recent and upcoming site events, a commitment to fetch quests was kinda tough... my problem was with irl issues happening so that i usually passed out before i finished most of them t-t
but i hope i helped at least a bit anyway, especially during the initial lag ^^

CONGRATZ EVERYONE!! I never had any doubt we could do it (although that lag was a little more than frustrating)! Holiday season is always exciting; personally I can't wait for Keel Hauliday with all it's wonderful pirate plunder.

@THESOVEREIGN 5-10 quests daily, maybe all of them on a blue moon is one thing, but every quest every day for fourteen days is another thing entirely. There are only so many hours of podcasts I can listen to in order to make it less soul crushing T_T

I'm glad you acknowledged how tedious it was to do all those quests at once...now I can go back to doing them at my own pace
Yay to the us!! We all worked hard during this (I almost got fired doing this at work!) and we pulled it off!! Looking forward to what's next, especially Keelhauliday! (and I'm never risking my job again, that's why I just upgraded my phone for restocking from Freyalise!!)
