Luminaire: all the information you need to have a good holiday
As you learned earlier today, you can visit Melody's Cottage each day throughout December for a treat or two. There are two achievements tied to this. For Lumineve Regular 2023, you must visit Melody 20 days in the first 25 days of December because the achievement will retire at the end of December 25. For Melody Regular 2023, you must visit Melody for a total of 25 days during Luminaire. The days do not need to be consecutive for either achievement.
Ornaments: You can donate sP to Melody after visiting her cottage to receive an Old Box of Ornaments. Opening the box will give you a random selection of ornaments. More may be added later in the holiday. You can mass add ornaments from your inventory to your ornament inventory here.
Other tree-related information: You can adjust your tree gift settings here to be 'everyone' 'friends only' or 'no one'. Tree's will 'open' on December 25, which is when you'll be able to access your gifts! Below is the sCode for adding your tree to your status, on the forums, and more.

Gift Lists: Did you know there is a gift list feature? You can make multiple lists, write notes, have a quick wishlist link, and more. This will help you keep track of who you've done gift shopping for and who you have left!
Snow Fairies: Keep an eye out for the snow fairy minions, which you can give via random event. There’s an achievement, 'Fairy Catcher!', when you find one. You can release snow fairies from your inventory for the 'Free all the Fairies' achievement. There is also an achievement, 'Fairy Collector' for having one of each color snow fairy in your inventory.
Snowballs: The snowtapult will open once Winter starts on Subeta on December 21. More information about throwing snowballs will happen then!
Luminaire Forums: You spread joy on the Luminaire Forums throughout Luminaire. The forums will be open until January 5 to finish up any last-minute business.
End of Luminaire: Luminaire ends at 11:59pm on December 31. :(
Free Shop: The Free Shop will not be open during Luminaire.

maybe the melody's little helper achievement could be changed to remove the mysterious melody requirement? anyone who has joined in the past three years can't get that achievement :(

It should change and be empty once the tree for this year is saved, Mine was this way too but now that I chose a tree and saved it the presents from last year went away and my tree shows as empty underneath like it should. Happened like that last year too

Yeah is anyone else's signature updating with their tree? Mine isnt, though my status is. I see one person, but that may have been there prior and the tree just popped in when activated.
Still no MM...? Bummer. :c It's my favorite part of Lumi and I've missed it the last 3 years. Hopefully it'll be back again someday.

Oh, I did not know that the Gift Lists existed until now but that is INCREDIBLE! I'll definitely be using that feature.

Sometimes I find that the trees take a bit to load and work for me as well. Have you tried hard refreshing the page with Ctrl + f5? That will often fix things for me!

I mentioned this on the previous post, but I'll say it again, I am SO happy I came back to Subeta just in time for this! Lumi was always my favorite event!

@Valiska Thank you!! I think something must be wrong with my computer. I was just telling @Amber that the ornaments are there but invisible. I can see my cursor changes into the crosshatch for moving objects but I don't actually see anything. Hoping it'll fix itself tomorrow. Thanks again and wishing you a Happy Lumi :)))
@Amber Ah, okay so I think what's happening is that the ornaments are in that top left corner where my tree is, but they're invisible? I know they're there because when I move my mouse over that area, it will turn into the crosshatch arrow cursor that you use for moving objects but I don't actually see anything. Hmm. Maybe it'll fix itself tomorrow after I re-log in or something. Thanks for your help! :) Happy Lumi to everyone!

@BoaConstrictor Looking at last year's comments, it seems it is a cache thing! Trees and presents were showing as the year before on profiles but when you individually went to give a gift, it showed the current year tree correctly. Still going to bug Keith about clearing the cache!

@BoaConstrictor Hm, that's interesting. I've checked the code and it should redirect and use the right year. It could be a cache issue but I'll pass it on to Keith just to be sure!
@eukelele After you click on the ornament and the name appears in the list, the ornament itself will appear in the upper left corner of the tree space. If you've chosen a background that's dark in that area, like "night" or "candlelight" you may be having trouble seeing ornaments that are dark, but they're there. From there you move the ornament onto the tree.

@eukelele This is the right place to ask (or on the forums). Are you trying to drag the ornament from the list area? Once you 'add' them to the tree, they should show up on that list but ALSO in the left corner of the area where your tree is. That's where you drag it to the tree and position as you like.

Hi everyone, is it okay to ask for help with my Luminare tree here? Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place. I've cleared my cache several times like the instructions say to, but it doesn't seem to be working.
How exactly do I move the ornaments onto the tree? Once they're in my ornament inventory and I click on them, they go into this list above the ornament inventory with up/down arrows to change the order except I'm not sure what it's doing because I don't see anything on the tree. Tried dragging ornaments as well and it doesn't work. Did I miss anything?

The gifts from last year still show "under our Trees" - is it safe to already drop new presents there?
Not worried about the free shop only that use to be the way to re-release old Melody items. Especially the older books from her are getting pricey. Any chance to get those out another way?
