OMG! I can't believe this! I have been needing to find a job and this is absolutely perfect aince I LOVE to draw and do it practically all the time! I REALLY hope I make it. I have been practicing digital art ever since I got my Tablet and I draw anime like things ALL the time! =D

If a person were picked to be a staff artist, is there a certain work structure to your quota? Like - would you, yourself, make up the items for the month, or are you given a guideline (ex: It's December, so we want you to make scarves)?

The reason a lot of companies request applicants over 18 is insurance and legal reasons. Some companies will ask for only people over 25 to apply, it is perfectly legal for them to do so. While many companies will hire younger people, there is a LOT more paperwork and hassle to do so, especially for internet based companies. Any person under 18 needs parental consent, which can cause a lot of problems for the employer, so they simply won't do it.

Not 18. So sad. Oh well even if I was I probably wouldn't have signed up anyway. For someone my age I do alot of things at once.
I think I've decided to apply, the idea is just too tempting. xD I'm sure I could meet the quota and I bet it would be good for me since I love drawing. And I'm nearly 20, so no worries about age!

Hmm... anyone have a working time machine? xD 4 years 3 months is a long time to wait x_X Anyway, good luck. Maybe by the time I'm old enough I'll be even better and have more of a chance to be accepted.

Lol... People should keep in mind... that... the wages on subeta are most likely not to be mistaken for real job wages... their not going to say "Well you worked this many hours so here is minimum wage times that many hours!" Lol, I don't think Keith can afford to be paying people that much. Even with this position... it should not be taken as "If I get this, I won't need a job anymore 8D!" Unless of course keith some how got mad monies and is able to dish out wages.<br />

just to be a broken record, 40 items is really easy to meet. this is coming from somewhere with two classes and a a full time job, and also taking commissions on imagination station :p I usually can finish my quota within the first week xD
I think it's good, particularly because is.. reduces the chances of immaturity..? o3o Being an artist is about being able to deal with the usual staff stuff and crits. Not for the weak! 8O It's also a maturity deal IRL, aside from the "legal" issue. Murrr. And yus. Deo is 21. XDDD

Lol, I'm 18, but I don't have a scanner to get my drawings on the computer, so I can't apply. So I guess I will have to wait, and see what other positions will be out there.
Oh, I might apply for this. I'll be 18 in two weeks xD. So by the time I get time to apply I should be 18 xD. Yay for being in university and people giving you odd looks when you tell them your age.

Good luck to whomever applies. I'm not even considering, since I'm both under eighteen and... well I don't have nearly enough patience to draw +40 things in a few months, let alone one. That and my art looks far too cartoony (Let alone lacks correct anatomy in most ways) compared to the current artists. But still, good luck to those applying, and the staff picking out the new artists.
