Rewrite!
We have been making progress daily with the recode - and most of the major features are finished, or getting there.
Today, we've hit a major milestone! We were able to port over all user accounts, inventories, and mail.
If you could please log into the rewrite and test these features out (make sure things got moved over correctly!) and post in the forums on the site about any problems (or suggestions!) you might have, that'd be a big help.
Notice
Nothing you do on rewrite will transfer to this site (www.subeta.org), and vice versa. If you buy an item in the shops on rewrite, you will not have it on the real site - and it will probably be cleared in some time from rewrite as we constantly move data around. Same with creating pets, etc, etc.
That means that any data on the account can possibly be days old. Remember that we do not port data every second (it makes the database go slow!) and it's possibly only few days that data will be moved over.
ONE MORE TIME: This is not the final time we will move data over. What is there now is NOT what will be moved over when the recode goes live.

I can't log in, probably because I use I.E.... one more time. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> Before today I was able to log in with IE on the rewriting site and even able to post there. Bah. I hope this is fixed soon. I'm tired of these IE glitches but I can't download another browser for some reasons =/

I had no problem logging in using Firefox. The Inventory, Mail, Wardrobe items and sP on hand seem to have made the transfer just fine...however I am not fond of the new Wardrobe system (save the ease of Avatar base changing), as the categories for clothing are absolutely necessary IMO. Searching through hundreds of items in disarray is dizzying.<br />

Um....I agree 100% with Julzeh. Seems like you guys got caught up in using a lot of fancy coding and javascript, but "fancy" isn't necessarily better, especially in the world of webpages. I don't bother with sites that are flash, or have javascript rollovers and popups everywhere. Simpler is better guys!<br />

Pretty good so far... All I want is the current Wardrobe system to stay (catagories, PLEASE T~T), and maybe a change to the statboosts of Bloodred pets? I mean, they're covered in BLOOD for goodness' sake, they should have a Strength boost to match their ferocious appearance or something. P: Just my two cents on that.
I finally got in after a few times but I am missing some of my items & Sp's & The Things In My Inventory I put in my shop & are already sold.. I don't have my new outfits that I just bought my love flowing teapot, the tea for two, my rats nest I just got & several other things.. I haven't totally got to check to make sure I have everything in my Vault Yet.. <br />

Interesting... the item port looks to be from a database save earlier than the pets/sP port. For example, my vault shows I still have the cauldron a friend gave me to get my nuclear potion, but my Nuclear Illumis is right there with my pets.

I can log in, I just don't like the rewrite. Will it be the new site soon, or will we please be able to choose between the two? I hope I'll still get to use the old Subeta...
I will report any glitches and what not I find, but I am waiting on the finished project to form an opinion. Right now some areas just seem a little disorganized and New siteish if that makes any sense. shrugs I love a lot of it though

i finally got to login, didnt know that we where supposed to use our normal subeta name and pass...even got my HA dressed, but it took forever.
Hey wait, I'm kind of confused by the news post. Does this mean that if I do something on this account, on the non-recode part of the site, that it won't transfer over when they do the real recode? XD Well I really like the new log in box, but apparently my pets turned to dust along with my friends and worldly possesions. Yay! Methinks I won't visit it again until I find where my Firefox went.
Can't log in so I can't report a problem there. I'm using IE6, if that has anything to do with it (it seems IE6 seems to be something people don't like, not sure why). I put in my current username and password for THIS site and when I hit Login it just wipes away my password and makes me type it in again. Doesn't say anything, doesn't do anything, nothing. I just keep typing my password in and I get nothing.

Everything checks for me. I have some problems with the wardrobe system, though... (personal problems) If we have a lot of clothing, how do we drag something form the bottom of the page all the way to the top without one of those center scroll button thingies? Also, maybe keep the Shoutbox where it currently is? And make sure the recode works for IE users... Thanks. =] Not sure if this is the right place to put these concerns but... yeah. It's a little daunting to try and do anything in my wardrobe, as it's all one one very VERY large page <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />. Pets seem fine, vault and inventory seem fine, wardrobe seems fine, but the concept of dragging things up to my avatar isn't working really well with like 1000 items in there. And no sP in the vault got transfered over, but it doesn't look like that's working yet anyway. Thanks again!
