It's so adorable! Thos irresistable doe eyes and that fluffy tail...I do concur that the wing color is a little odd but it's still pretty...my only real issue with this is that the feet are a bit too furry...like it's wearing slippers...but otherwise, amazing work!
I don't like the almost human-anime like face. It looks more like an anime characters face, not a squirral. I think the nose needs to be shortened, and the cheek fur cut back. The feet should have a flatter base, but other then that, I like it ^^

I don't very much like it, the cheek fur seems to be off and the nose is a bit tweaked, his facial features don't look to be the best either and his feet are in very strange positions
The feet kinda creep me out. Then I looked at the old one and saw it had the same feet XD So either way I'd be creeped out!

My only critique is that I think the muzzle is a tad bit too small; the feet are just a little bit under-featured; and the wing seems a little splayed-- maybe have four feathers instead of three?

Although, the wings don't anatomically look like they're connected to the back itself, more like they're connected to the arms. Unless there's a longer, thinner section connecting the wings and back that we just can't see in this pose? Either way, I love the new wing colour. ^^ The muzzle looks a little off, too. Its left foot (its left, on the right when we're looking at it) seems a bit off proportionally, even including the fact that this is more of a 3/4 view then a frontal view. I noticed lately a lot of redrawn pets are so ...... chibi, its the eyes that do it, I really don't think its a step in the right direction seeing as Subeta is just for kids.
I don't get why the new style is cutesy and huge chibi eyes? I thought thats what the chibi potion was for, not for the normal pets.

The torrey is in need of a revamp as the poor little thing looks terribly outdated compared to some of the other pets.
This revamp just doesn't seem like a torrey.
The torrey had a sort of squerl-fox feel (to me anyway) and the revamp looks more like rat-squerl feel. Its face is too wide and its muzzle too thin. Torrey before seemed like it would have a longer, not a wider face more like a dogs muzzle. The revamp also seems taller, thinner overall and more upstanding. He stops looking like a squerl when it looses its lean, the thinness makes it seem more like a well kept pet, but if squerls looked like well kept pet and not fat preparing for winter squerls they wouldn't like them as much. Squerls are chubby, makes them cute.

I think that the new art is superbly done, however, it just doesn't scream Torrey to me <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> The new pose changes the character of the creature.
Specifically, I preferred the green eyes and the faintly subservient (or perhaps obeisant would be a better word) look to the old one.
Although it doesn't address the loss of the old pose, the redline edit in AcaciaKumori's post captures the qualities of the redraw that the staff seems to have been looking for but also pulls a little more from the old look.

The wings are sooo much cuter than the old ones, and the bright blue eyes. I like this new version also because it looks a lot fuzzyer. Nice one!
In my opinion, the pose needs to be more relaxed, and the pet is slightly too thin. Also the foot on the right could use a bit of work, it looks somewhat strange.

I like the color of the wings, the purple goes really well with the brown.
I think the mouth-part is a little too tiny, and the upperarms are too thin in contrast with the lower arms and paws, but that's just me being picky.

I don't dislike it--it's actually really nicely coloured and shaded and detailed--but there's just a few things that are a little off, all of which have been mentioned before: I like green eyes better with the brown; the purple wings seem a little odd though not actually bad; the right side leg seems a bit unbalanced; the new expression loses some of that goofball charm.

I would like it better if the feet and snout were changed, I love silverpaws edit and I also think it would look really cool if you had the center of the eye around the pupil dark purple and fade to a lilac purple on the outside. Or the same idea with a Forest green on the inside and a pastel green on the outside

I voted new. I do like the eyes better green rather than blue. The smile is very cute. The wings give me pause... maybe a teeny bit bigger and add a bit of green. Man, I must be in a green mood. But this looks fresh and new and is very pretty.
I say, make the eyes a bit smaller, maybe also make the head a little smaller. The eyes might look better as a green color, and make the upper leg part a little hairier.

I absolutely LOVE the detail of the new Torre, but I do like the green eyes better, as well as the lighter color wings. Other then that, I think its gorgeous! Amazing job to the artist!
Hm... this one's cute, but the snout looks a little too thin and almost wolfish, and the feet and hands look... awkward. The feet remind me of the Grinch, and the snout looks too thin. I think that if I had gone for the old Torrey, I wouldn't go for the new one. :/

You know, I don't understand why everyone is freaking out about the wings. It's a lovely revamp, and purple and brown contrast each other perfectly! Definitely voting for the new one! Bravo!

He used to be poofy and now he's Lanky (tall and skinny) - already said by me, I know. I only speak out so much because I have a singular Torrey that is VERY special to me - if he were changed TOO much, I might be devastated.

The old Torrey was so cute! I wanted to just hug it because it looked so innocent and sweet. This Torrey is so different. Same basics but it's almost too different. The muzzle is the area that needs the most work, as well as the posture. The wings bother me because they don't really seem to match, almost like they belong on another pet entirely. The tail reminds me of a Popoko? I can't remember how to spell it. The ears are cute on the upside. I think the feet ad arms need repositioning and some toes would be awesome. I like the detailing. I would LOVE to see the old Torrey just be redrawn, same posture and all, just prettier.
It's well drawn and the colors are better, but the expression on the old one is just more fun, it has more personality. The new one is good, but compared to the old one, its kind of blah, no energy. I know. It would be easier to change the eye color, but I think the great subeta artists are up to the challenge of giving it more life, so to speak.
My biggest complaint is the snout. It just looks so off that I can't look at it. Other than that, I pretty much love it...Well, maybe I could do without the breast-like chest fluff. XD
It's cute... but too, well, dopey-looking. I always adored the old one because of the tilt of the head, which let it keep the adorability but also look intelligent. And the green eyes were nicer, too, even if the blue is pretty. I love it, but I'm going to have to say that I love the old one a little more... maybe you could just make the pose a bit more similar?
