I really love the detail in the hair (fur?) on the new one, the tuft of hair doesn't bother me but I think it would make more sense to be on the ankle. Only thing I really prefer on the old drawing is the size of the orbs. I love the eye markings on the new one though, actually, all the markings.

I voted for the new one as it's more detailed, but I really like a lot of the details from the old one, and hope that some of them will be included if it is redrawn. The specific features I like on the old one are the tail "feathers". I also feel that to me, it is a bit cuter.

Also, the right ear (our left) looks... too high to me. It's lined up with its eye, and looks kind of awkward. Maybe if it was moved slightly down and to the left (ours)?
The only thing I like better on the old hikei are the hooves. The stance in the new revamp as well as the facial expression is MUCH better than the former revamp. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
I think it looks great! I like the mane and the tails especially. I think the eyes look just a little bit too slanted, but otherwise it's gorgeous.

YES! The tuft of hair on the hind legs and some of marking coloring is bothering me, but other than that, yes. Maybe make it point down instead of outward?
