Reminder: All gelatin challenges will retired at the end of Keel Hauliday. The holiday ends at 11:59pm on October 6.

*The Supreme Hydragellos is no longer a global boss. That means he is just like any of the other gelatins; you'll have to defeat him alone.

The job agency has been given a few small improvements:
- A new collect all income button has been added, to collect income for all of your pets with jobs
- If you've already collected income for a pet, it'll display "Income Collected Today" instead of the link to collect income again

What will you grab from this Token Shop restock?

FOR THOSE WONDERING ABOUT MOROSTIDE

Morostide will be starting this month, of course, but here are a few things to keep in mind. These points are mostly vague on purpose. Specific details will be released when we start the holiday!

:jack_o_lantern: There will be only one wave of trick or treat items. We will be bringing back old items, though!
:jack_o_lantern: You all will have to figure out the new way trick-or-treat items are distributed. ;) Generally, every few years, we like to switch the grouping of items up. Some of the methods in the past: number of pets a person has, taking your userid and doing module 6, month joined, number of letters in username, and I bet more I've forgotten!
:jack_o_lantern: Challengers will be returning! Get your battle pets ready. ;)
:jack_o_lantern: We will push the holiday past October 31 for max spooky vibes. We've started the holiday at various times of October, but unless an event issue/site was going down, the holiday would end on the 31st.

To reiterate: the above points are mostly vague on purpose. Specific details will be released when we start the holiday!

It's spooky, scary time for all! There are some updates for Morostide this year, so strap in.

The Pumpkin Patch is once again open for those hoping to get their pumpkin fix. You'll have a chance to find Jaxon's previous minions (you'll know them by their cool glow) as well as Snowflaik, which he would like returned thank you. There is NO new minion to be found in the patch this year. That doesn't mean there isn't a new minion, it will just be released later in the holiday.

:jack_o_lantern: There are less new items than usual added to the patch this year. Throughout the holiday we will be adjusting that previous year slot! There will a news post to let you know which year is now going out (say items from 2017) along with 2024. This will give y'all a chance to get old foods and books. ;)

What does that all mean? Right now you get 2024/2023 items from the patch. In two days it might be 2024/2012 while in a few days after that, it could be 2024/2018! Remember, there will be a news post to let you know. :)

The most important part of Morostide is clearly Trick-or-Treat (ToT). When you visit a friend's profile for a treat, you might just get hexed. Retaliate by throwing an egg or TP roll! For every 5 people to ToT at your house, you'll get an item as well. Use the following sCode in your forum signature or status so people can easily visit you.

There is a link on the news sidebar for Random ToTing. This link DOES expire and when that happens just hit the "Random Trick or Treat" button on the page to reset it. Random ToTing gives you a shorter wait time of 5 minutes during most of the holiday with 3 minutes on the last day.

:ghost: Now, what's different about ToTing this year? We've changed up the method of what house gives out what items. The past few years it's been what month you joined. We look forward to seeing your theories! There are 12 possible groups to be sorted in. That's your only hint for now.

This is the only wave of new items for ToTing. Like the pumpkin patch, we will introduce some older items later in the holiday. Right now enjoy 2024 and 2023 items!

Thank you, everyone, for your patience while we fixed ToTing. There was an issue with the timers, and some houses worked giving out items while others didn't. Both should be fixed!

Euclid is once again letting people stand in front of his zapper for the chance of getting a cool avatar skin. There will be new skins added later in the holiday. :)

Of course, there are floating pumpkins this year, but there are no new carved ones. I can hear the wails now of users wanting more attention to pumpkins. Well, you'll just have to wait. You'll want to keep a hold of your squash, gourd, and pumpkin items for a later Morostide project. ;)

Today has sure been a day, am I right? Full of tricks instead of sweet, sweet treats.

Thank you to everyone who has been letting us know about issues with trick-or-treating. As you might've noticed, we've had to bring ToTing up and down multiple times today.

:ghost: There was an issue with timers that have been fixed! Understand that choosing where you trick or treat or choosing to go with a random house is built on the same timer. The 5 minutes is for the random, though.

:ghost: At one point, some houses were giving out 'no item'. Which... rude! This has been fixed.

:ghost: Users are amazing. Y'all always do a thread tracking items and ... unfortunately we made quite a few users think they were crazy. Some items were popping up in multiple "house" groups. That was because anyone in houses 1, 10, 11, and 12 were getting pulled together because of that pesky '1'. This has also been fixed!

:jack_o_lantern: You can't change your house group, it's set in stone because we captured data from earlier in the month to sort y'all. I haven't seen anyone figure out the method yet, so here's another clue. Look to the pets! It's something to do with pets. :)

Oh, what a treat. It's time for another chaotic token shop restock!

Over the next 24 hours or so, I will be restocking items randomly in the Token Shop. Don’t assume an item restocked earlier will appear in a later restock, I really am choosing at random. We are not adjusting the wait time between purchases, either, so you’ll have some hard decisions.

Do you consider the start of waves and waves of Morostide challengers a treat? No? Too bad!

For this first wave (out of 3, not including Roland), you can fight the following opponents: Spider, Lingering Haunt, Pumgpulnug, Carrion Lord, Mirror Ghoul, and Noflaik!

You can find these challengers in the Event tab of the Battle Coliseum. They will stick around until the end of Morostide.

What's this? Instead of finding 2023 items in the Pumpkin Patch, you will now find items from 2018! Enjoy collecting these older items while you can because we'll be switching that year up again soon. :eyes:

We'd hate to leave trick-or-treating out, so now you have a chance of getting items from 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021! ENJOY THE CANDY (and other treats).

ToT items from 2022 and 2021 are not in the same houses they used to be, so you'll have to find out how they are currently sorted on your own/with other users!

The next round of tricky challengers are available to battle! Don't let Scary Chairy, Deathly Harbinger, Candy Scorn, Wolve, Umbrus, and Organ Collector scare you, you'll do fine. Hopefully.

All Morostide challengers will stick around until the end of Morostide. This is wave 2 of 3 for Morostide challengers, not including Roland.

The Pumpkin Patch is now giving items out from 2024 and 2019! Trick or Treating will also be giving out items from 2024 and 2019 in the next hour or so (thanks cache)!

We will be switching up the past years for the patch and ToT again, so get these while you can. This is a reminder that tot items from past years will not be showing up at the same houses as their release yet!

The Recycle Beast needs your help composting all of those beautiful items you've been collecting over the years (.... and is concerned you've had gourds collecting for years 😬).

Head over to the Recycle Beast Composting Heap (say that five times fast...), and read further here for how this works.

The Recycle Beast is taking a lot of items, and you can easily browse and see what items you can expect the recycle beast to take. Hopefully this level of detail makes it easier for you to jump right in to features like this (and we'll continue to do this going forward!)

There are two trackers on the main composting page, the 🥇 solo and 🌎 community tracker. Each item you compost (maximum 50 per day) will count toward both of these trackers.

The composting heap prizes are also split into the two categories.

🥇 solo prizes are items, and you can choose the same item with each tier (50, 100, 250, 1000), or choose a different item. You can choose the book each time! I'm particularly excited for the 🌽

🌎 community prizes are attached to your account, and each redeemable once, but you can choose the order! Things like title bundles, avatar borders or a new category of cosmetic: Reactions!

You can use reactions on the new Kumos site on news comments, forum posts, and avatars. We'll be introducing it to further places soon and hope it's a fun way to further use NPCs during events as prizes.

This iteration of composting will be open until November 17, so you can get rid of any leftover pumpkins and ToT treats!

It's the spookiest day of the year, right? To celebrate, we've got a few treats for you.

:ghost: For the next 24 hours, the ToTing and Pumpkin Patch wait time will be cut down. The timing will go back to normal for November 1-4, so enjoy it while you can!
:ghost: ToT items, starting in about an hour (thanks cache), will only give out items from 2024! This will last all of October 31 as a nice treat for those still needing items from this year.
:ghost: Pumpkin Patch and ToT will have one last round of item rotation on November 1. Remember that the Pumpkin Patch currently gives 2024 & 2019 items while ToT will be giving out just 2024 (again, with cache you'll likely get some 2019 items for the next hour roughly).
