The Tolerated

Kurona is my girlfriend. Back on Mars, I never thought I would have a mate, but I guess I've grown. Or something. She's a Martian like me, but we met on Earth, when she came in where I was working. Three days in a row she brought the same list of stuff to get me to help her find, and that's when I kinda started figuring stuff out. Through everything we started hanging out and talking and learning about each other. She's more understanding about stuff than I thought, I mean we're on the page about a lotta stuff, and she's super nice and taught me how to write English. She helped me a lot with a bunch of stuff over time, really... One thing led to another, and she's my girlfriend, but I guess I already said that, huh. Oh and we have a pet rabbit together called Snickerdoodle.

Martians usually move away, find a job and find a mate, when they become and adult. But I continued to stay with my parents while working. When I lived there, me and my mom would work, but my dad didn't have a job. I stayed with them as long as I could to avoid being expected to find a mate... But then I got the opportunity to go to Earth and what better way to avoid such things than to just leave the planet? I'm still in contact with them, and I've got dad down to Earth more than once. He does want me to come back and visit on Mars, though.

Maji is my older half-brother that I never knew I had until he showed up at my parents' house one time. We, apparently, share the same dad, which was news to me... But he was more upset about that stuff than I was. He was living on Earth and came back to visit and had all his friends with him... And then they invited me to go to Earth so yeah. He's older, but he's shorter... and really... annoying and an idiot but somehow a genius at the same time. I don't hate him or anything but he should know how easily I get annoyed.

Evadine is Maji's mate. It's kinda complicated, or, Idunno. When I met Maji, he referred to her as "his girlfriend but not really" but they also had a child together so... This is why I don't understand stuff. Anyway, I think it's not like that anymore. They're closer and Martian-married. I don't really talk to her, but I've been over and hung out and they let their kids visit me and Kurona... Huh, I guess I am an uncle, after all... Guess Evadine's nice and all, and I don't know why she and Kurona don't hang out. I think they should.

Dejr is my nephew, Maji's son. He was already around a whole Earth year old by the time I moved to Earth. When he started getting even older, and Kurona moved in with me, Maji and Evadine started sending him to my house. I guess to spend time, or something. I mean I uh, never wanted kids, and Kurona said the same thing, but I guess it's okay to temporarily take care of one, and Kurona reads him stories. Then we can send him away and relax 'cause he's not ours. Don't get me wrong, he's a nice kid and all... But I don't know if I could have one around 24/7. Snickerdoodle is my rabbit son and he's hard enough to take care of. Then Maji and Evadine had another child called Baylee but she's still really little so they keep her at their house for the most part.

Zay is Maji's friend, and one of the friends that was with him on Mars when they all came to my parents' house. So she was one of the first Earthlings I met. She was, um... really interested in... being my friend. And she taught me a bunch of stuff. *blush* Er, I, well... That was all before I met Kurona, and she hasn't visited me since then. But y'know I've seen her around... Like at Maji's. For parties. And stuff.

I don't really know JC that well, but he's also one of Maji's friends and was in his group during the Mars visit. Yeah, and then we went back to Maji's mom's house to prepare to go back to Earth and JC was talking to me for a long time in English but I didn't know what he was talking about. *shrug* He kept showing me a little book but I didn't even know what a book was at the time. And he played some music, which I didn't know what that was either. It was really weird and awkward, wonder what all he was saying back then...

Overruled is another Martian who lives on Earth, and is Maji's friend. I think. I don't understand what actually is going on between them. But they seemed like friends, and Overruled was there during the Mars visit as well. I'm not really all that familiar with him and we haven't talked since I got settled in on Earth. But I guess he has a husband who is somehow a robot, called Sustained. I never saw anything like it...
