Merana (mer-AH-nah) is a sea witch located on an island in Subeta only available to those who have a completed Uncharted Land Map. Sending Subetans on errands to retrieve certain spell reagents, Merana promises to bless their pet as a reward. (But is it really a reward?)

Those of you with aquaphobia (a morbid fear of drowning) will quickly find out who and what Chaotic Dreamtime is in a truly frightening way. He is inextricably tied to the ocean and to the dreams of those afraid of its power; its unknowns; its vastness; its murky, cold depths.

He will invade your dreams in the blink of an eye demonstrating that sleep is no escape from aquaphobia or from him. For the most part he is ephemeral yet enduring and will oft times manifest unexpectedly, creating chaos, fear, anxiety, and misery in your dreams yielding terror.

Sleep is no protector, no haven, no comfort. Wakening always leaves the dreamers drained and unsettled with chaotic thoughts. Avoidance only adds to abnormal fear especially if you have seen 'him'. His ghostly appearance and flowing seaweed 'body' lurking in your dreams, wrapping around you, drawing you in and down, hugging you tightly, leaving you the horrible feeling of no hope.

He unhesitatingly invades your dreams and is always frightening; ever threatening. And as the last of your hope fades, you scream as the water fills your lungs and you know that you will die without a sound.....Hopefully you wake before he succeeds. It is his "job" and his "punishment". He is good at it!

"Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success. Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success. Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream." ~ Lao Tzu

Psychedelic Dreams

(c) Singleton 2010
"I tossed and turned
and flung my arms....
tumbling through the dark caverns of everyday chaos...
deeper and deeper
into the cool waters
of Saturday night
a make~believe~for~the~moment place...
And in my middle of the night sleep,
skinny arms tangled in sun dried sheets,
I painted smiles
on the wayward faces
of every haunting that's ever crossed my highway...."

Much Madness is divinest Sense By Emily Dickinson

Much Madness is divinest Sense -
To a discerning Eye -
Much Sense - the starkest Madness -
"Tis the Majority
In this, as All, prevail -
Assent - and you are sane -
Demur - you"re straightway dangerous -
And handled with a Chain -

Chaos By Biswajit Ganguly

Combined laughter of cars,
Hurried noises of shoes of pedestrians,
Pausing traffic signals,
Impatient office goers,
All joined together
To form a chaos;
We can"t change it, we create it,
We face it, then criticize it,
Criticism is meaningless,
Chaos is within us.

Till late at night in a city pub,
We sit and talk
Then drink and smoke,
Venom, we want it more
In artificial rainbow light of disco balls at nightclub,
We release our bodies
To get abused by hungry souls,
We surrender to the lust of unknown hands,
Torture us,
Torture us more,
Let chaos be the venom for chaos.

Fear in the middle of the night-
Fear and horrible imaginings-
Fear of my life,
Fear for those I love and our world,
Fear in the early morning
Fear and more fear-
Fear broken a bit by the light,
Fear broken a bit by morning prayer,
Fear broken a bit by "learning",
Fear broken a bit by writing,
Fear broken a bit by morning coffee,
Fear less-
Fear in the neck and in the mind-
Fear down the spine-
Fear less in the light,
Fear of the night
Fear of the morning,
Fear of my life,
Fear for those I love and our world,
Fear and fear less-
In the writing
In the prayer before prayer-
In the walking outside at night
In the morning light
Fear gone for now,

A dream has the power to unify the body, mind, and spirit. It provides you with insight into your own self and a means for self-exploration. In understanding your dreams, you will gain a better understanding and discovery of your true self.

1..People who become blind after birth can see images in their dreams. People who are born blind do not see any images, but have dreams equally vivid involving their other senses of sound, smell, touch and emotion.

2..Within 5 minutes of waking, half of your dream if forgotten. Within 10, 90% is gone.

3..Every human being dreams (except in cases of extreme psychological disorder) but men and women have different dreams and different physical reactions. Men tend to dream more about other men, while women tend to dream equally about men and women. In addition, both men and women experience sexually related physical reactions to their dreams regardless of whether the dream is sexual in nature; males experience erections and females experience increased vaginal blood flow.

4..In a recent sleep study, students who were awakened at the beginning of each dream, but still allowed their 8 hours of sleep, all experienced difficulty in concentration, irritability, hallucinations, and signs of psychosis after only 3 days. When finally allowed their REM sleep the student"s brains made up for lost time by greatly increasing the percentage of sleep spent in the REM stage.

5..Our dreams are frequently full of strangers who play out certain parts - did you know that your mind is not inventing those faces - they are real faces of real people that you have seen during your life but may not know or remember? The evil killer in your latest dream may be the guy who pumped petrol in to your Dad"s car when you were just a little kid. We have all seen hundreds of thousands of faces through our lives, so we have an endless supply of characters for our brain to utilize during our dreams.

6..A full 12% of sighted people dream exclusively in black and white. The remaining number dream in full color.

7..If you dream about some particular subject it is not often that the dream is about that. Dreams speak in a deeply symbolic language. The unconscious mind tries to compare your dream to something else, which is similar. Its like writing a poem and saying that a group of ants were like machines that never stop. But you would never compare something to itself, for example: "That beautiful sunset was like a beautiful sunset". So whatever symbol your dream picks on it is most unlikely to be a symbol for itself.

8..People who have smoked cigarettes for a long time who stop, have reported much more vivid dreams than they would normally experience. Additionally, according to the Journal of Abnormal Psychology: "Among 293 smokers abstinent for between 1 and 4 weeks, 33% reported having at least 1 dream about smoking. In most dreams, subjects caught themselves smoking and felt strong negative emotions, such as panic and guilt."

9..Dream Incorporation is the experience that most of us have had where a sound from reality is heard in our dream and incorporated in some way.

10..Believe it or not, your body is virtually paralyzed during your sleep - most likely to prevent your body from acting out aspects of your dreams. According to the Wikipedia article on dreaming, "Glands begin to secrete a hormone that helps induce sleep and neurons send signals to the spinal cord which cause the body to relax and later become essentially paralyzed."

11..When you are snoring, you are not dreaming.

12..Toddlers do not dream about themselves until around the age of 3. From the same age, children typically have many more nightmares than adults do until age 7 or 8.

13..If you are awakened out of REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, you are more likely to remember your dream in a more vivid way than you would if you woke from a full night sleep.
