Rain was wet, clouds made rain, and Joshua Alexander killed people. This wasn't exactly an unknown fact, but the rain would make the roofs slippery and his getaway may be difficult. All the same, he smirks, and he very calmly calls the police: "Joshua Alexander's struck again. Roof of the MagiTech corporation."
This was the fun part, Joshua thought to himself as he bounded up the stairs. The best part of the night was finally here, one he'd been antsy for and wanting all night. His legs ached from the urge to run, his body suddenly perking up from the small shot of adrenaline. When he reached the roof, he waited impatiently- stupid cops! The killer's right here! I even picked one close to the station this time, why're you taking forever to mobilize dammit?! Jousha paced along the roof in the rain. "What're you WAITING for, assholes?! It's like they want me to get away."
Waiting was no fun. And Joshua was completely soaked, but the cops finally arrived. He decided he'd let them get to the roof this time before running. He knew he could outpace them- he was Joshua Alexander, the "Dashing Blade", the "Smiling Shot"! Nothing could stop him. And when the police arrived, finally, he yelled "Caaaaaatch me!" as he ran, dodging shots and laughing hysterically as he went.

The happy-go-lucky assassin Kei Mishina- also known as Joshua Alexander to everyone in Centropolis. He tries not to give his name out very easily and is one of the better assassins- he gets the job done and ensures his clients names are protected by way of actually telling police he did it. He loves the chase, you see, so sometimes he'll just call the cops and wait on the roof for the next chase to begin. He prefers guns and swords but guns mostly, he's a great sharpshot and this is where most have trouble catching up to him. Between his set of varied abilities, the assassin Joshua Alexander is forever on the run- while Mishina Kei relaxes at home. Could it be split personalities? Nobody knows...
Weirdly enough, Joshua Alexander had a happy home with his family in Japan. Born Mishina Kei, he spent most of his childhood at the local arcades around Akihabara with his best friends Tori, Noriko and Akihiro. His father owned a sushi restauraunt and all in all, Kei was just a normal Japanese teenager... that is until he got to Centropolis. You see, that's where he picked up le parkour as his hobby of choice- it was love at first run for him and the rush grew, grew, grew... until suddenly, the rush from a death-defying jump stopped being enough. He wanted more.
And this desire for more culminated in an accident. A fight broke out one one of the many Centropolis rooftops. Kei doesn't remember the details, but what he does remember is taking a gun from one of the other guy's hands and shooting someone. He remembers freezing and standing there as the people around him scattered... and then something rose up out of his throat- a giggle. A little bubble of a giggle. And when the cops arrived, Joshua Alexander took his first baby steps, quickly transformed into his first run, and from there Joshua Alexander was a killer for hire.
Of all the experiments, Joshua's is the most esosteric. The Spectrum project was originally to be used to create camouflaged soldiers but it grew into the strangest collection of abilities known to man- Joshua can create and change colors at will, as well as jump through paintings to go elsewhere. However, since he cannot become invisible, he is considered a failure. He really doesn't care about it and just uses what he has- he splashes a color on the wall as his calling card when he kills. Different colors do different things, and each is named. The only known ones are Orange Rhythm (creates shockwaves and creates a bridge you can slide across) Red Pulse (a few quick forceful blasts) and Indigo Cool (lowers temperature to freezing points) but there are likely many others- Joshua dislikes using the Colors unless his life is on the line, as it feels like cheating.

Weirdly enough, Joshua has a shoe collection. He likes sneakers. Probably because he tears through them so quickly from his parkour habits. He's also a fan of piano and knows how to play fairly well.
Joshua lives in a small house on the outskirts of Centropolis. It's a fairly open and empty house with a pretty damn sophisticated kitchen- his bedroom is a loft and is on the top floor with a guest bedroom, and his basement is basically a training facility. There's a garage with a fairly nice and rarely-used car inside it attached to the basement/ground floor.

Book: Any given Discworld title, but his favorites are "Soul Music" and "Night Watch".
Song: "No Limit" by INNA, and "Peacock" by Katy Perry.

Family: Came from a fairly normal Japanese family- a mom, a scary dad and a sister. He STILL fears his dad, but he does love his family and frequently sends home decent amounts of money. Sometimes, he visits home in Chiba.
