What\'s that...more pet slots?!
Good evening, shining jewels!
There\'s one thing that we here in Delphi are not short of, and that\'s pets looking to be adopted. As the Ambassador for Delphi, I wanted to do something about this, so I partnered up with my fellow Ambassador, Saggitarius, to come up with an idea to help some of our many wonderful pets to find homes!
He tells me that many of you have full homes, and so aren\'t able to adopt - and he suggested that maybe if you had some more pet slots, you might adopt more pets! And he was more than willing to help with that, only charging a \'small fee\' - and he\'ll donate the profits to Adopt R Us so they can give the pets there some beautiful new colors to make them more desirable!
So as of now, you can find 5 new petslots available to be bought from the Millionaire Center! They are priced at 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 million sp. And until the end of this month, keep a look out in Adopt R Us for newly colored pets!

hmm... it never occurred to me for a free name change. I just figured just like you guys are tweeking coloring or gender... perhaps a name here or there... numbers ext. guess not... Anyway this is a fantastic move. Good job!

The re-colouring plan is a very nice touch, too!
Although personally I think it's not the colours that's the problem but the names (random combinations of numbers and letters just don't attract me). But then, different people prefer different things, so maybe with this new opportunity people who like the names of the pets from the pound can adopt them.

Oh - and as to the 'free name change on adopted pets' - that's something that we won't do, as it could easily be abused.
I think I adopted four of my pets. It doesn't help that some have adopted underneath despite them being created by me.

@Yuzu - 'Newly colored pets' means that some of the pets in Adopt R Us are just having their colour (and sometimes species) changed. Not into a colour that doesn't exist yet! Just, if they're common or dusk or something, they might be colored reborn or nostalgic or turned into an experiment to make them more desirable.
Not sure if best news in a while aside from free pet slot/forum title and those gorgeous rosea items...or terrible, terrible curse upon my future sP earnings. xD
Wait what does that mean? Staff will be creating and painting pets to then abandon them for us to adopt?

- I love the idea of putting pet slots in the MC.
- I disagree that we should be able to change the names of the pets in the pound for free. What's even the point of adopting, then?
- How does this thing about newly colored pets in the pound work? Will they be created by staff and thrown in, or is there a chance when a user abandons a pet that it may randomly have its color changed? If it's the latter, does this only happen to Common pets, or does it apply to only commonpose colors, or does it apply to all of them?

Which is exactly what I've been doing, making pets instead of adopting, which means most of the pets in the pound will just sit there if nobody likes their name.

Right now there is only one pet slot in the Millionaire Center and it's for 20 million. i'm confused. does that give me 1 pet slot

Well, I won't complain even though I think they easily could have been doubled or more with just as many sales because its a one time thing anyhow. Instead I'll be happy for all you crazy pet collectors, while I sit here trying to decide what to do with the 1 new pet slot I earned XD.
Are these pet slot a limited or permanent to the millionaire centre?

not sure i agree… i mean yes it would be nice to have a free name change, but the whole point of the pound is that you're adopting a pet as-is; you can pay to change its color, species, gender, stats, and name later on, but if you want a pet with a particular name then you should just make the pet with that name. i feel like it would be sort of… cheaty, for lack of a better term, to be able to adopt a pet with an awesome color or awesome stats or whatever you look for in a pet, and then give it a name of your own choosing. it would take some of the effort out of achieving your ideal pet.

wowzers.... YAY... Will the names in the adoption center be improved? Right now... ugh! I'd be much more likely to adopt even a basic color if the names weren't so awful!

So much encouragement for us to get new pets whoa. It's really nice to see something is being done to help the pounded pets! 3/4 of mine are adopted themselves.
So I assume we can save the slot if we buy one, so if I get one now I don't need to use it until I figure out what I want?
oh wow, i just noticed that the pound is down to 135 pets (from over 400), probably since the end of the quest-a-thon. cool!
