Internet Explorer!
We're no longer supporting internet explorer as a browser for using Subeta. If you're using Internet Explorer to access Subeta, we will not be able to help you in tickets or on the forums to debug technical issues with the site. Microsoft itself has asked users to make the move to microsoft edge, the official Microsoft browser and they have stopped releasing non-critical updates to internet explorer.
We recommend using firefox or chrome as your primary browser when using Subeta.

not with a bang but with a whimper. farewell, worst browser ever.

@Keith I thought we did this years ago!! like back during the 4-chan era? I haven't used explorer since then!

I'm so glad that Firefox (my browser of choice!) is still supported. A lot of sites seem to be dumping it or not fully supporting it, which is frustrating. RIP Internet Explorer, though, and whoever still used it.

Is there a breakdown of what percentage of users use different browsers? I'd be kinda curious to see that. :O

I loved super fast Opera until a few days ago, when BC, drop down menus, event deleting etc. ceased to work all of a sudden.

@PiplupMagby34
I recently got a new laptop and wanted to try something different than Chrome as, as mentioned before, it eats RAM. Going off of a few different websites, Opera seemed to rate great for all I needed. RAM munching aside Chrome is good too. I also used Firefox before and it seemed to lag on Subeta when I did, sadly. Opera works perfect though ~ :heart:

I use my iPad or iPhone most of the time to access Subeta. That's still okay, isn't it???
@PiplupMagby34 ya. But be warned not everything that works with FF (the addons/extensions) is compatible with Palemoon
Palemoon is basically a stripped down version of FF with a lot less garbage on it if you will. ive been using for years & its been good to me. Chrome is fine if you like google. SeaMonkey is still good & maintained. I still use it at times for certain things
@Porygon
I use Opera as well. Used Chrome until I got a virus attack/ data overload(?) and Firefox seems too slow for me.
@CastlesInTheSky
Is Palemoon free?

chrome is fairly intuitive to learn how to use, you dont really need a million fancy extensions or root around to find more complex settings to fiddle with on chrome to just browse like you normally do tbh

I also use Opera and it works well! I've used Microsoft Edge just long enough to install another browser :pensive:

Lol, does still have people who use it?
Anyway, I recommend Opera or in last case... Firefox. Chrome eats your RAM like a Kirby.

I remember 10 years ago when the Trading Post search here wouldn’t work if you were using IE, haha. That’s actually what made me switch to Firefox, and I’ve been using it since. :’D

Opera is good too. Runs faster than Chrome and Firefox in my experience and has a built-in VPN.
My dad’s ‘new’ work laptop was defaulting to IE when he got it last week and of course breaking every site he tried to use. Don’t use IE, people! D:

FML. I was just getting used to having a PC and now I have to learn ANOTHER new browser? (Tried FF and Chrome and don't care for either...) So Subeta won't support edge either?
Shoulda stayed with Mac.
