Recently, a team of linguists studying the winged creature we've known as the Aerie discovered that we'd misunderstood these majestic beasts all along. After reviewing their language, it's become clear that they refer to one another as Irions. What we mistakenly believed to be The Aerie turned out to be the name for their home, not their species. In light of this discovery, all references to Aeries on record have been corrected.

I still kinda think the front legs are too stiff - where do they bend? Not very fond of the name change eithier, what was wrong with aerie? It also seems that all of the fluff is on the front part of its chest, with none at all of his legs. The wings are also -I think- too small for his body, and the 'thumbs' on his front feet don't look like they belong. Anyway, please don't change the hydrus version! I'm planning on changing Jade into one and I think It's fine the way it is.
Forgot to add in, I do know that these guys will grow on me once I get over the change xD It is a vast improvement.

To me, none of the KEY issues seem to have been addressesed? I do love this new version just the combination of the small wings, startled expression, etc, is a bit..much.
I also do not understand why the Aeries were renamed. Could someone go IN-DEPTH? Was it too close to the Eyrie on neopets?

I LOVE the new name, it was WAY to close to NEO's name for a similar pet. And the new look is great too. My personal favorite touch is the earring. Great work all around!

I don't like the name change. I'll get used to it since I own one.
I do like that we've embraced the more "griffin" look of the pet.
And the artwork is lovely.

Hmmm... I don't really know what to say. The art is lovely, I love the new pose... and I can't wait to see what happens with the special poses. England has been waiting for his revamp for awhile. ;D

I wish more of the critiques had been addressed, especially the tiny wings (which still look really awkward on such a powerful, majestic creature)... but at least the hind leg does look better. I'll miss the unique look and personality of the Aerie, but I guess there's not much room for deviations from the norm where gryphons are concerned.

I like the new name. I'm not too crazy about the revamp but I wasn't crazy about the pet before that either.
With all due respect to you and the pets that you are waiting on, this news post is about the <strong>irion revamp</strong>. Please stay on topic. We know you are waiting on other pets, and we promise we won't forget about them without reminders.
Yay, finally! I love this. I don't know yet if I'll have one other than my Hydrus guy - I shall wait and see how the nonstandard poses look, and I do wish the wings had been larger. But it's wonderful to see them properly fierce and gryphonaceous at last.

I'm going to miss the griffin. =/ Now it's a hippogriff (except it has lion back legs instead of horse)

Ah, I see it now, Seerow. The back legs do look much better, which I'm very glad about. I <i>am</i> also glad the feathers and spots stayed, but the tail still kind of bothers me. Ah well, it's certainly improvement. ^^

Ok, I can live with the name change, but it will take some time to get used to; however, I would LOVE an explanation of why Halloween was changed to Morostide. I'm just not loving that one.
The bird feet are really strange, I'm not sure what better way I could say that, but they don't look quite right. Hopefully this design will get some touching up? It's definitely beautiful, though, can't wait to see the special poses.
