Recently, a team of linguists studying the winged creature we've known as the Aerie discovered that we'd misunderstood these majestic beasts all along. After reviewing their language, it's become clear that they refer to one another as Irions. What we mistakenly believed to be The Aerie turned out to be the name for their home, not their species. In light of this discovery, all references to Aeries on record have been corrected.

All irions without bird front feet and markings will need to be redone. We will try to keep the original designs in mind when revamping, but begging us not to touch your irion is a futile effort. We have to keep our art consistent.

Tiki, it must be because there's a pet species at Neopets which looks like the Irion, and the name is similar to "Aerie".

Fantastic revamp. __ I love how the Marsh almost looks like it has vine patterns on it. The Arid, Cream, and Twilight are lovely as well.
I love the revamp, they actually resemble gryphons now! I am not sure if I care for the name change, but I will live with it, and I may grow to like it with time.

I really like the name! Maybe Subeta wanted to separate itself from Neopets. They have a really similar looking pet. But anyway, the name and revamp are wonderful! 8D
Name change! The feathers seem a bit too clumped to me, but they still look fluffy and nice. Great job artist!
