Quest-A-Thon Coming Soon!
How would you like a new pet slot to extend your pet family without spending CSC? Well, here is your chance!
Starting tonight, Friday the 17th, at 12:00am until Thursday the 23rd at 11:59pm we will be having a site wide Quest-A-Thon! What does this entail exactly?
You will be working with your fellow users to get 500,000 quests completed during the week. You will need to complete quests from the following quest givers to have them count: Carl, Cinthia, Mori and Nori, Alexander, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Saggitarius, Allard and of course me. Remember that regular users can complete 10 quests per quest giver while Gold Account users can complete 15 quests.
Everyone will be able to see how many quests have been completed by checking out the news where we will have a progress bar. If the goal gets completed, everyone that has participated will receive 1 new pet slot and the forum title of is forever on a quest for more pets. So make sure to get your friends online and cheer them on to complete their quests every day so everyone can get a slot! You might spot an NPC or two posting around the forums encouraging you to complete quests, too.
Remember that the goal is 500,000 completed quests. We won't be rewarding you with another pet slot if you manage a million quests, though we'll be incredibly impressed!

Does it count if we can do every quest BUT Sarah's? Because that would be disappointing if we didn't get points for participation since we weren't able to do "everyone's" quests. Seems petty and illogical but. Not that I needed another pet slot heh
I got all excited, but then I realized I cannot access Carl's quests... so... good luck, people.

@cartel That's what I thought, I was just pointing it out in case anyone was wondering or thought all quests should count. :)
I noticed that it says quests completed, so if we can only do 2/15 quests that only counts as 2. :(
Have to add that I am overwhelmed by the amount of comments here. It's awesome to see how excited everyone is and I REALLY appreciate that even people who aren't as much into pets as I am have promised to help us to achieve our goal. YOU ARE AMAZING!

Guess I'll be activating the week gold account I saved. Does anyone know if we'll need a gold account to use the pet slot? Will it work the same if you're already over 5?
This reminds me of the feats in Glitch, if anyone has ever played it :) glad to see some cooperation event

@Lukota Everyone who participates will get a pet slot if you guys go over 500,000! I included the “Remember that the goal is 500,000 completed quests. We won't be rewarding you with another pet slot if you manage a million quests, though we'll be incredibly impressed!†in the news post so that people didn’t try to sweet talk their way into more pet slots if they go above and beyond the call of duty ;)
I like seeing group/community activities. We don't feel like we are competing against each other for prizes, and can cheer each other along. It feels like we move together as a team! I also like the 'pick a side' activities, but these style ones are my favorite.
So if we pass 500,000 we won't get a free pet slot??? Eesh keep an eye on the number everyone...
I hope we can do this. I really want a free pet slot. But will we need a gold account to even use it if we have maximum pets for a non GA user?

I always do all the quests every night except Sarah (can't, not poor enough) and Cinthia. So will be working on it as soon as the reset comes at midnight.
Although I don't want another pet, I will always be up for questing... as much as I can until this migraine goes away. sigh
Oh and if Mother Nature allows me to keep my computer on. More storms coming.
