How would you like a new pet slot to extend your pet family without spending CSC? Well, here is your chance!
Starting tonight, Friday the 17th, at 12:00am until Thursday the 23rd at 11:59pm we will be having a site wide Quest-A-Thon! What does this entail exactly?
You will be working with your fellow users to get 500,000 quests completed during the week. You will need to complete quests from the following quest givers to have them count: Carl, Cinthia, Mori and Nori, Alexander, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Saggitarius, Allard and of course me. Remember that regular users can complete 10 quests per quest giver while Gold Account users can complete 15 quests.
Everyone will be able to see how many quests have been completed by checking out the news where we will have a progress bar. If the goal gets completed, everyone that has participated will receive 1 new pet slot and the forum title of is forever on a quest for more pets. So make sure to get your friends online and cheer them on to complete their quests every day so everyone can get a slot! You might spot an NPC or two posting around the forums encouraging you to complete quests, too.
Remember that the goal is 500,000 completed quests. We won't be rewarding you with another pet slot if you manage a million quests, though we'll be incredibly impressed!

I'm mostly worried about Quentin, cause those items don't restock and those quests are already almost not worth it ç__ç

@Ferinsy I think rs'ing the shops more is a good idea too, I don't see why they can't do both :p
I mean on a wsq that is just 3 days and there is always a little inflation....this is ALL of the quests, for 7 full days and a pretty great reward if your a pet person....inflation is inevitable and prevention is better than cure imo

@Illyria I don't think vending will be the problem solver in the short time we have, but I'd love to see shops RS more, so people who try to hoard and resell will not be able to keep it lol.
Since it hasn't started yet, we just need to wait. If the inflation becomes real, surely staff will make something to stop it, like putting the time between purchases 30 secs.

Oh this is a great way to let us earn another pet slot! :) And good thing I've already gotten in the habit of doing all my quests. Might have to splurge on a 1 week ga for this.

@MamaBear yes, they count because you do them for the quest givers. They give you an extra item just because you're doing Shinwas as well, but it's their quests.

Thank goodness it is tomorrow this starts then Alexander will not hopefully be asking for all those dear items he is a bandit without the mask and gun
@Ferinsy I don't know if I'll have the chance to get on tomorrow or Saturday. :'c Between work and trying to get everything in order for the trip it may not be possible. Subeta-ing while at my aunt's is near impossible. o.o I tried 2 years ago when we were there and the computer crashed (computer's just /that/ old).

Well, this is perfect. I've got a lot of videos to watch on the side while I quest and am kind of behind on them on account of not questing as much any more (got all the achievement for them already). But now... Ima be questing my little behind off! I don't even care about the pet slot or even the title, but if I don't help out as much as I can, I'll feel I'll let everyone else down. So. 150 quests a day it is! Booyah.
I already do all of my quests for the most part, this will just give extra incentive not to quit them!! So exciting!!

I'm probably derping, but the third paragraph kind of makes it sound like we have to do all the quests from all the quest givers for our personal totals to count. That can't be right, can it? Asking us to do Sarah AND Saggi would be, like, the equivalent of dividing by zero!
