Morty Cards Recycled
Morty has found a new use for those old useless Morty Cards laying around. If you redeem it, he'll give you 5 cash shop credits for the next 5 quests you complete. That's 25CSC for something you're probably already doing!
Morty has also printed a fresh batch of cards and has given them out to his favorite quest givers to give out as a rare prize.
We've reset quests for all users, happy questing!

I'm jealous of the luck that some of you have had! I did all of my quests and ended up with 3 cards.
That said, there will always be panic-sellers out there, but I'm not panicked at all about the price of csc falling because of this. Even if I was an RNG goddess who was getting 8 cards every single day, I don't feel that it would put much of a dent in the cash shop items I've yet to collect (especially the ones that are never included in Black Friday sales). I don't even bother with any wardrobe/CW items so my list is probably a heck of a lot shorter than most! I suspect that many of us will just hold on to the extra CSC for the vast amounts of collection items, challengers, etc we have already, long-term GAs, or future items that we will have.

Huh, I don't think I've ever gotten one of those before. Granted I only do the Wizard and Quentin quests a day. So maybe I just have been unlucky.
I'm curious about what the drop rate actually is. I got a single card after doing all my quests today. :0

That seems like the most ideal option, but it will probably leads to requests of other things being zeroed out like before an achievement comes out. Or at least have Subetateam clear them like they used to, but it still doesn't solve the hoards sitting around. Perhaps they shouldn't have reused Morty Cards and gone with a new item or buff instead.

RE: Card drop odds: I just did 30 quests and didn’t get a single Morty card. RNG is fussy. Is it all quests that give the cards, or just some?
daaaang, y'all lucky! 8 cards? I got 4 doing all my quests and thought that was nuts. Part of me hopes the drop rate stays the same but I understand that's probably not sustainable haha.
I wish when changes like this happen, that those items in shops would be zero'd out giving the owner the option to use them verses being nabbed up by those online when the announcement drops. Maybe a thought for future item use changes...

I managed to snag one from the usershops before they got stupid expensive. I started out with 37 csc and ended with 187. I don't even have a gold account. I also got another card near the end that I tucked into my vault for tomorrow.
As much as I'm enjoying this, I think y'all might need to adjust the drop rate so you don't go broke. laugh

I'd use them as soon as I can, and buy xmas gifts with that. There's no telling what will happen later.
I agree with the posts below. And it's really random too; you know Subeta's RNG is really temperamental. Maybe it could be given at a fixed rate like the questpoints? But I really think it should go back to the drawing board, because while it has good intentions, there has to be a better way of executing it.

I'm at a loss for words. They said they'd figure something out like 3 years ago... I think I fragmented most of them this year. At least I have 1 in my gallery.
200 csc a day for questing? Um, not "rare" by any means. 1400 csc in a week is ... yikes. :x Hopefully the rate can be adjusted.
To contrast, csc is given out every 10 days at the bathhouse in increments of 10. I still stand by my concerns, maybe not necessarily for csc cost, but what this might mean for people spending real money on the site. I know I won't want to buy csc if I can get 1400 in a week or anything close to that for that matter.

Got 8 in total, if you take that as the mean, that means in one day of Gold Account you make 2 weeks of GA, which is pretty..... Wow.

I got one from the BB after assorted quest number 8, and then another from the wizard after assorted quest number 15. I think it should give an idea what the odds are :)

I keep forgetting to unlock them. Which is fine, except that my Very Good Brain tells me that I can't unlock them on a number that isn't divisible by 5 because that Just Isn't A Good Thing.

@PiplupMagby34 Nothing :) You get CSC on successful quests, the amount doesn't go down on unsuccessful quests.
@BeccaCat2019 You don't have to 'go' to Morty. You just click on the card in your inventory and click the free CSC option ;)
