🌸The Tigrean Who Loves
Flowers and Butterflies🌸

His little garden paradise is just outside Peka Glade, away from the curious eyes and careless feet of the tourist crowd. The design is a skillful layout of raised beds, rock beds, shallow pools, rose trellises and greenhouses (for those more delicate specimens). Flowers are his darlings, though he has been known to try his hand at a few patches of edible herbs.

Each section of his garden is an experiment in color and style and every one of his displays is thriving. Some cluster a particular color or two. (His gold and royal purple display is a particularly regal sight.) Others play with leaf textures or the height of plant stalks. There isn't a garden to rival Tyrion's. Even the Oracle will occasionally come to him for growing tips!

He does have a kind heart despite his dislike for company. He donates huge bouquets to the memorial statue around Survival and he and Esther have a standing arrangement for Vesnali. (You didn't think all of those floating flowers just came from Seedlings, did you?) Some have called him the Melody of Spring, always generous and eager to bring festivity to an important Subetan holiday.

He's also important to the Subetan culinary scene. Food Market and Quick Bites both benefit from the produce he produces. He sells overstock to such venues as Libertine Lounge and Freyalise Trading Co. There's not a holiday that goes by in Subeta that isn't in some way influenced by his hard work.

Those who would prey on his natural good nature beware: despite his kind heart, he has all the predatory instincts of a tigrean and won't take kindly to thieves in the night. Nor will he tolerate anyone teasing his dearest companion, Windstar the Jellypop. His lilac colored minion is always eager to help with plucking weeds or spending a lazy afternoon watching the flight patterns of butterflies.

He has butterflies aplenty and is careful to plant flowers in all of his displays that are particular favorites of both butterflies and bees. He believes strongly in giving back to nature...and he delights in nature's cheery little helpers visiting his hard-won patches of ground. Gardening is a true labor of love.

His other passion is books. Inside his modest (but by no means stingy) cottage are thousands of titles. Not just gardening books, as you might expect, but fiction titles in just about every known genre. He is particular to Sci-Fi and Mystery but has yet to encounter the book that he must put down in disgust.

He attends the occasional book club meeting with his few and dear friends. Renowned authors Shooting Star and Majesty are always eager to get his feedback on their latest novels. He loves the biographies of Shadow Fox and the true life stories of Icelyn Ashilldr. These are just a handful of the authors he calls friends, to say nothing of other intellectuals (and botany enthusiasts) who are always welcome at his place.

On quiet nights at home, Windstar will paw at the title that somehow always fits Tyrion's mood perfectly. Tyrion can get lost in a good story, reading to Windstar, almost as if the little minion could understand every word. (Perhaps he can. No Subetan scientist has, at least to date, conclusively proven that minions have some sort of telepathic language all their own).

His friends often tease that Tyrion ought to write a gardening book but he is perfectly content to add plenty of green growing things to the world without the extra addition of a written work in his name. Still, he is gratified by their kind opinions and will occasionally jot down interesting observations from his experiments in a green leather journal engraved with golden leaves.
