I'd just like to remind artists that there is a quota.
We do enforce this quota, and had to remove 4 artists from the staff this month. These were artists who have been under-quota for two+ months.
This is just a warning. If you didn't do a quota this month, you won't be paid. (So when some of you notice you didn't get $30 for those 12 items you did, sorry.)
Next month (January) we are toying with the idea of raising the quota, but also raising the payment by $10 for artists. (UAs+ will stay the same)

Today's downtime was caused by corruption in the MySQL Database. Only the user database was affected, and accounts of users accessing the site at the time of the corrupted database were lost. A backup from approximately two weeks ago was re-applied to the user database.
The following settings from the last two weeks were reverted (only if your account was deleted!)
Anything else (items, pets, etc) are safe and still as they were before the site went down.
If you activated a gold account in the last two weeks, please smail one of the User Admins (Go to the Staff page to find a user admin) and it will be re-activated.
Unfortunately any account that was deleted, and is newer than two weeks old was unable to be re-created. You are more than welcome to recreate your account. After doing so, mail a Admin (go to the Staff page) the name of your pets of your previous account (you may be asked to verify other key details) and they can be tranfered, along with your items.
Again, we are as upset as you are that this had to happen on Christmas, but we hope to reveal an exciting new feature sometime before the end of the month to make up for it!

If you see users moderating the site, please actively post discouraging it. It's getting out of hand, most of the time they're modding incorrectly, and users getting yelled at are confused. It needs to be controlled. So, if you see users modding (this happens most in the forums and SB), please inform them they shouldn't mod, and should just get a staff member.

Stockings have been added to the User Profiles!
To use them, all you have to do is go to your friend's profile and click on 'Fill this Stocking'. It'll list your items, and you just choose what to stuff their stocking with!
On Christmas day (and a week afterward) they will be able to open their stocking and get all of the presents out!
Note to Profile V2 Users - Make sure you have the Contacts/Options section added!

Okay, as some of you haven't read my post about "spam" posts, let me repeat myself. We've changed the rules on spam a little bit. Users may post multiple of the same topics, so long as different users post. Example: UserA posts about Pokemon and UserB posts about Pokemon, too. They may both keep their Pokemon topic, but if UserA posts two topics on Pokemon, it's considered spam and they should be locked.
Remember this when moderating the forums!
Also, I advise that you all take a look at the topic about leniency that Keith has made in the UA Forum. It's really very important that we're on the same page, as far as warnings go. The users notice the inconsistancy.
