Rewrite!
We have been making progress daily with the recode - and most of the major features are finished, or getting there.
Today, we've hit a major milestone! We were able to port over all user accounts, inventories, and mail.
If you could please log into the rewrite and test these features out (make sure things got moved over correctly!) and post in the forums on the site about any problems (or suggestions!) you might have, that'd be a big help.
Notice
Nothing you do on rewrite will transfer to this site (www.subeta.org), and vice versa. If you buy an item in the shops on rewrite, you will not have it on the real site - and it will probably be cleared in some time from rewrite as we constantly move data around. Same with creating pets, etc, etc.
That means that any data on the account can possibly be days old. Remember that we do not port data every second (it makes the database go slow!) and it's possibly only few days that data will be moved over.
ONE MORE TIME: This is not the final time we will move data over. What is there now is NOT what will be moved over when the recode goes live.
Today's new lineup begins with newcomer Junko's captivating Ensnared line.
And ever-dazzling Shimmer returns with Princess Lolita, in a lovely contrast.
Whichever one you persue, remember to walk with pride when you wear them!

For those of you who like to link things around the site (and off site) links have been fixed. :)
The PETSP (People for the ethical treatment of Subeta Pets) have lobbied for days that various area's of the site require that your pets be fed and happy. Remember that the Lakeview Resort is always open and ready to take pets who's owners can't handle the task of feeding/playing with them. :)
The Graveyard Shop has just started stocking some tasty new edible delights for your pets! Warning: It us best not to make direct eye contact prior to consumption...

The Serpenths, seeing the Aeries fussing over each other in the treetops around Subeta, grew jealous--just slightly jealous, they claim.
Without a word, they all slithered off into the night (much to the joy of the smaller species, who would finally have a bit of rest without fear of being eaten), leaving many owners confused as to the whereabouts of their beloved pets.
But of course, they've returned--and brought a surprise with them. No one is quite certain where those patterns came from, but they seem a bit attached.

The Holiday Shop has swapped out a ton of its December fare in favor of new, swoon-worthy Valentines Stuff...we cross our hearts. ;)
But, what's this--it looks like the Millionaire Center is in on the season as well with a limited-time offering for those with deeper pockets!
It's time for Mardi Gras again, and in proper fashion the shops have put out their festive stock once more! :)
Profits were announced for 2007 and Claw Vending Co was in the red :(. To try and combat this (instead of closing down) they upped the prices to use their vending machines to 4 tokens. :(
All of the Main Shops on Subeta have gone searching for better (lower!) prices and were able to lower inflation to 1.0 on their entire stock .. who knows for how long though :o

Everyone who currently holds a Gold Account has been given two weeks more :) Those of you who expired during the downtime, or recently because of the downtime - please message a UA and have that worked out.
Unknown Island Maps - If you are unable to get to the unknown island (but you finished the map), contact a UA and they can reactive it for you :)
Seems that feeding those minions will fetch you this pretty trophy (not that there aren't others you can get ;)) no matter how many you feed.
Did your GA expire during the downtime? (I'm sorry!) Well - now all you have to do is contact a User Admin and they will sort the whole thing out for you. :) PLEASE make sure to include as much information as you can, include
- Proof of Purchase of the GA you used
- Date that it expired
- Paypal Receipt
- Date of Purchase
- If you purchased it via the millionare center.
- User you purchased from
The more information you provide, the easier it is for the UAs to give you back your GA :)
Oh No! A shipment of minions being sent to the (minion deprived) cities of Atebus crashed landed, I think you should go help them out!

Love is in the air, and the Cash Shop has released the February 2008 Donation Presents to reflect that ;) It's packed full of love!
The Valentines event will be active tomorrow. Also, due to the downtime, we are leaving the January 2008 donation presents up for a limited amount of time, encase you didn't get a chance to buy them and you wanted to :)
Welcome back everyone! The past few days have been pretty crazy. As I said when the site was down, don't go into working on servers unless it's something you're super passionate about :P
When the site was back up briefly, we had to reset data back amount of time. If there is any data beyond that that we can restore, I will keep you updated.
I know you're waiting for the february donation presents, and the Valentine's events, and those should be up soon. Lots of things to do first (like make sure things are stable).
We have another fun new feature planned for release sometime this week, so keep an eye out.
Also - the downtime should be over. What happened was, we tried to upgrade the servers, and it messed things up (too much of a good thing? :() and one of our file systems ate up way too much RAM and kept crashing. We had to undo all of the changes, and now the site should be running smoothly.
Sorry, again! And I'm glad everyone keeps coming back, otherwise I'd be pretty lonely :(

Just wanted to let you know that we are working on things, and they are coming along smoothly. We are taking snapshots of the site every 30 minutes, so that is the most data we will lose.
If you purchased cash shop items, and were not able to get them, message a user admin which you can find here :)
