Cash Shop: Cheap Fabric Bolts
Dragging her fingers over it made every hair stand on end. She couldn't work with this material. Even the smell made her gag. She'd been called shallow before: "It's just fabric, not all of us can afford to dress in neela wool, you know." She did know. She'd not grown up in a wealthy household. Her family had relied heavily on donations and she'd struggled through many school classes being made fun of until she discovered she had quite the talent for pulling apart the second hand clothes and arranging them into something new, something special. It was the only way she'd been able to feel special, back then.

She'd got herself out of that situation through a lot of hard work but also sheer luck. Unfortunately it had come at the cost of friendships and the genteel personality that people with friends seemed to have. She was called scathing, bossy, sarcastic - something that didn't seem to be an issue with certain other people in the industry, but she had long stopped caring what others thought of her. She cared only for fashion now. Making the world beautiful. Which was why she hated reminders of a time that it wasn't, for her. Especially reminders that were corporeal forms of her very nightmares!

Scootle Rainbow!
Well, you certainly have been busy! So many new scootles have bonded with Nature Hikers, it really does appear that they’re ready to be our pets! I’ve also been very successful with the potion testing. Behold, a scootle rainbow:





I’ve enlisted some help in getting elixirs made for the scootle, but for now the only way to adopt one will be to “unlock” the pet by bonding with it in the Nature Hike. Once you’ve bonded the first time, however, it seems that future scootles will immediately choose to come home with you, if you wish. I suppose they must pass the message on to their friends that you’re a good owner!

Oh, one more thing: it appears that wild scootles are genderless - but they do not keep this trait if they are changed into another species. How interesting! I can’t wait for the Subetapedia article!

A new discovery!
Hello Vesnali celebrators - are you having a nice time? I’ve had a lovely year. Well, a lovely few years actually! But today I wanted to talk to you about one of my recent expeditions. You know how I love to keep an eye on the local nature! I’ve been noticing the Nature Walk over in Riverside has been a little quiet for a while, probably because the novelty has worn off a bit. People make a visit or two and then find other ways to fill their time. Which is great for some of the creatures there! They don’t like it being too busy or full of people.

The thing is, I think something has moved in there. A new something. At first, I thought it was a minion, but after spending some time documenting it I started to believe it had more properties of a Subeta pet! It’s taken me a while, but one of the little creatures ended up bonding with me, and when I offered it a chance to come home with me it scooted right up my arm to nuzzle at my cheek! A very strange sensation, I’ll tell you that much, and it put my dear Esther right off snuggling that night (she’s not the hugest fan of the uh…’slippery slimy’ type things)!

Anyway, I now have this creature, which I’ve been referring to as the 'scootle' because of how fast it moves, and I’m not sure if I’m some kind of anomaly! I think the best thing to do is invite those of you who might be interested in adopting one of the things over to the Nature Walk - see if you can spot one for yourself! It might take a few days to bond with them, as it did with me, but if they do I think I may have discovered a brand new pet! In the meantime, I’m going to work to see how my scootle responds to potions…I’ll have my results on…Friday, I believe!

Hello my loves, how are you all keeping? It's been such a wonderful year for Emma and me, married bliss I suppose! It's lovely to soon be spending our 1st wedding anniversary together, I can't believe how quickly it's come around. We've added a few little themed paper items to the Vesnali shop as a rather selfish nod, I'm afraid. I'm very fond of them, though, and think that you will be too! Oh yes, and we'll be putting our lovey Guestbook out, 1 year to the day of the wedding. It's very special to us, and we're happy to share the beautiful messages with all of you.

Now, while we're not using them for our own wedding any more, we're sure plenty of people are still interested in making bouquets. They're back again, and sticking around until a week after Vesnali to give you a good chance to make the ones you need! As well as finding flowers around Subeta, you can restock them from Emma at Seedlings, or by doing Cinthia’s quests. There are also Vesnali restockables to be found via Alexander’s quests, if you're lucky!

All quests have been cleared, so you can do them again! :)
Not all flowers will be restocking at Seedlings, just enough to help you all get some coins.
Cinthia gives out bouquet specific flowers from her quests!

Remember, you'll need Vesnali Coins to purchase items, which you can get by picking up the floating flowers and exchanging them with friends via their profiles. You can also use the following scode in your status or on the forums to flower people:

Important Dates
Vesnali will end on May 20 at 11:59pm, so you'll no longer be able to earn coins but I'll be keeping my shop open all year! The Vesnali Forums will close on May 21 at 11:59pm. Cinthia’s quests will stop giving out bouquet related flowers on May 27 at 11:59pm when Bouquets end!

There is a new Reward Card available to fill out! Remember that for each stamp you will earn Loyalty Points (LP) in ascending value to spend in the Loyalty Shop - stamp 1 is 1 point, stamp 2 is 2 points and so forth. Completing a card awards you 5 bonus LP, bringing the total for completing a card to 60LP.

You can fill this card up twice! You will get the same amount of points for filling out each card, so in total you have a chance of getting 120LP. You can spend these points in the Loyalty Shop.

If you’re unsure if you’re on your first or second card, check out your current level. Levels 0-10 are for the first card, 11-20 are for the second card.

Esmerelda doesn’t have time for your nonsense. She’s busy deciding on the latest fashion trends and working to keep Subeta looking stunning. Details of the populace’s incompetence do not interest her.

But many things displease Esmerelda. Many MANY things. You’d have to try really hard to get her to stop what she’s doing and focus on you, though. If you can figure out what it is you have to do to grab her attention, be prepared for a one-on-one appointment with the most scathing personal critique of your life. That’s all.

Once you unlock Esmerelda, she will appear in the Secret Tab. 
Unlocking Esmerelda is not limited to just this month like with our Throwback Challengers. While we'll continue releasing a challenger on the second Thursday, you'll have plenty of time to unlock them.

That's right - after a few weeks of beta testing and tweaks, Bug and I are pleased to announce the new, improved, updated custom wearables page is now live for everyone!

Head on over to the Custom Wearables section of the site and check it out for yourself! It features a sleek, clean design and easy-to-follow links and buttons that keep everything you need for CWs in one convenient place.

New features include the ability to permanently retire custom items so they will no longer clog up your active items, as well as one place to view all of your retired and sold-out items with ease. Plus, your active items are now paginated for easier viewing options - no more endless scrolling! One click is all it takes to move an item to your shop or to retire it.

This glade zentu is just a dream! It's ever so gentle around the flowers and smaller creatures, although sometimes it can't quite help its size. It does just love a daisy chain crown, or any other natural trinket you might choose to give to it!
