I miss my old 188. The face isn't the same one I fell in love with :( The artwork is obviously better technically, but I might end up using an overlay.
Euclid has a sense of humor...

That being said, these are a huge step up. They both look great, #8625 has been needing a revamp for the longest time and #188 just overall looks way better now.

The mermaid chai kind of weirds me out. It reminds me of those inserts in cartoons where they zoom in on someone add way too much detail. It's like there's definition on every single hair, instead of just clumps like most furry Subeta pets. D:

@MarchOnOff You can save the old image, rehost it yourself, and then use it as an overlay on your pet's profile with HTML or CSS or whatever it's called. Try this on your pet's profile (but as I said, probably rehost the image yourself, I suggest imgur.com)

The merdog looks even fluffier now and more dog-like!! Lovely! The other experiment looks less awkward now too!
Can experiment #188's chibi version be more experimental as well? Would be awesome to get a larva looking pet.
8625 was cuter before. I don't like the head size change, even if the rest of it has well-needed changes :c

The 188 is going to take some getting used to for me -- I don't dislike it, but it doesn't feel quite as Haigha as the old

STUNNING revamps!!! Wow! Fantastic detail and the new faces are so sweet and endearing. These pets were never on my radar to own before, but now I think I'll head off to the zapper. ;)
#8625 is so much better now. I always had a feeling it SHOULD be cute, but the face always bothered me, especially the eyes. Now it ACTUALLY looks cute. Also, now I can see it actually has 6 ears, on the old one I never saw the ears as ears, just weird hair-tufts like the one on top of its head.
Those look incredible! I never really paid much attention to the 8625 before, but I might need to get one now ;)
