It'd be so much nicer if we re-chibied it again. This one is...grown up. The old one had a big head and tail. And something bothers me about the tummy. And I agree, the eyes have totally lost that cute clueless look and I think we REALLY need to cut down on the fur. shudders at now incredibly noticebly baldish head

The shading and everything is wonderful, but the forehead seems way too big/fluffy, the tummy seems a big chubby to me, and the fur on the chest is a bit...odd. xD I love the expression on the old one, how the mouth is open..I think if it had a few changes it would be awesome
I voted old. This new otter - although beautifully drawn I might add - really doesn't cut it for me. ^^; The paws look very strange, and almost as though the otter is holding them in an uncomfortable position, on the previous one they were more rested. The tail flippers are strangely small and not as 'flowing' as the previous/current otter. I've noticed that this new one doesn't look as...cuddly, as the the other one. The head in particular strikes me as slightly off - it's a little to large, especially at the top of the head where it appears to bulge out. I also miss the little shocked expression the otter has always had.
However, I can also see many improvements. The paws are much more beautiful than before, and the little tufts of fur on the chest are amazing. The eyes, also, look much better and more defined.
Having said that, I'd be sad if the new one went through. If a few changes could be made in reference to the things I pointed out earlier, I'd be much more happy for the otter to be replaced. But, as I said earlier, it's beautiful art - so well done to whoever drew it =)

I usually love the revamps but the shape of his muzzle and face seem much less attractive now. Also the tufts of fur on his upper chest look a little odd to me...
I have a feeling no one is going to like my input no matter how well I say it so... I'm just gonna take a chance and make this as simple as possible.

This is one time I actually prefer the old version. Quality wise I prefer the new one but.. as someone said the old one had more character. This new one looks older and the head just bothers me for some reason. :/

Oooh, the quality of this is great, and I love how its not all short stubby and fat like the other, but instead long and lean..er and not like it could suffer a coronary.

I like the spots under the eyes, but the ones on the arms look like age spots xD

While I'm not crazy about the design on it's own, it's leagues better than the old one. And at the very least, go with the name change! 'Otter' is so dreadfully unoriginal.

What made me really like the old otter was its 'roundness' and... those EYES! :O Though this one of course looks more professional with its colouring and whatnot... I really prefer the old one and hope it stays that way, or at least other revamps will be able to keep that look :/

Oh, and I think the number of spots on the arms and legs should be reduced a bit. Makes it look like it has the chicken pox to me. xP And the old otter didn't have them.
The otter needs a revamp, but like with the Tigrean, I don't think this is quite it. Something is better than nothing, though...

Much better than the old one - the proportions are a lot better, as is the pose. The only improvement I can think of is to make the tail a little less stiff, and thicker at the end.

I really like this new one in general, but I don't really like the muzzle. It seems to thin and reminds me of a dog. It just doesn't seem to fit the Otter. And the tufts of fur on the chest...One would be enough.
I voted for the new one, but I'd like to see a few tweaks as well. ^^; The (otter's) left leg seems a bit slim in the thigh area compared to the right leg. Maybe it should be a bit more rounded? And the tail should probably be positioned more flat...ly? The new version makes it look like it has a fish tail instead of say... a dolphin tail. Like it's verical instead of horizontal. Nooo~! I love my otter TT Im not too happy with this revamp so far, the face needs some work, the pose looks uncomfy, tail is a bit thin... the way the front paws/arms are against his body looks awkward. the way the top part is angled looks awkward, or maybe thats just me. dont mean to be picky but Otters have always been my fave TT and i was always disappointed with the angelic revamp, hugehuge tail, didnt like the pose much there either. blah hugs her otters to bits

Aw, this one's cute... I voted for the new version because of that adorable look and because it actually has a muzzle, but it could use a few smaller updates. Overall, it's a really good revamp image.

<br />- That upmost tuft of fur on it's head. It's... not exactly needed and it makes the Otter look slightly odd. The old one had the fur on the head 'slicked' backwards. And, as people stated before, it should lose the shinyness on it's head. ^^; It just looks... odd. Like the Otter is balding in that area and the skin is shiny.
<br />- The fur on it's chest. It looks... well... like it has female curves. It just needs to be toned down a bit. Keep the fluffy chest, just not that fluffy...
<br />- The far hind leg. It looks a bit too angular. Maybe it would be good if it was connecting to the body a bit higher up? I can edit the image if you'd like to see what I mean.
<br />- The tail. It seems a bit too thin when it goes up to the tailfin and it seems a bit too stiff. Maybe if it were curved a bit more and slightly thicker...?

i'm voted also for the old version.. i think the older version has more character. Really, the new otter- great work! Its painted really exact and looks professional, but it lost a lot of his charme.. That head could also be a head of any doggything or whatever..=/.. sorry, i'm thinking of that galactic version with the old otter, its really lovely with that face.. would that also be changed?
i like the new ones body okay, but the old one's face is nicer.. i like the old better because of it.... the forehead's a bit large... maybe keep the old face but the new body?

This is a very hard decision, and I hope my feedback will help with it a lot. I voted for the old otter, despite the fact that this one's art is obviously newer, cleaner, and shinier. There are a lot of 'issues' that I think, if fixed, would make it look fabulous. The tufts of hair on the chest look terribly out of place - they make it look like it has really squashed boobs, heh. The way the fur falls back on the head is nice, but it looks like it has an absolutely GIANT head, and that it's going prematurely bald because of the shiny spots right on the forehead. The muzzle looks a bit narrow, and I'm afraid it'll turn out like the feli, where any open-mouth pose makes it look terribly crowded with teeth. Also, I think it's perhaps just a TAD too bowlegged. Like I said, the art is obviously better, but it seems to lose a lot of things that made the old otter adorable.
It looks much more realistic than the older, more cartoonish one. By giving it a longer body and an actual muzzel, it looks so much better. Plus it has that "Pet-Me-I'm-Adorable" look on its face. The tail is a little off, but overall, it's a definite improvement.
it does have more personality in the expression, kudos on that. I would suggest that the dome of the forehead be reduced and the length of the body be shortened a bit to bring back some of that pudgy cuteness to the pet. It doesn't have to be babyish, but it's gone from toddler to teenager in body shape. The shape of the fluke on the old one was more graceful, so perhaps shorter tail, original flukes. The furry bits work well on the head, elbows and tail, but don't do as well doubled on the chest and between the hind legs.

Generally, I like it. Over all nice anatomy and it's cute. It needs to lose at least one of the fluffs on the chest. The last two pieces of hair on the forehead need to come off and line from the eyebrow ridge should connect to the piece of left. It would still have a cute dome head without looking like it's skull is sticking out to far.
Yeah, the tail near the end is a bit thin and the chest fur is a bit boobish. But it looks cute otherwise
It's so cute but the arm looks a bit off. I think the line connecting the shoulder to the arm is a bit too long
I like the head on the old version better. Plus the arms on the new one look wrong to me. The tail on the new one looks a bit too small as someone said earlier.
I also don't want the otter to lose the expression that the old one had. That expression helped me decide my otters' personality.
I hope either they keep the old one or at the very least keep the old expression. Normally I wouldn't care so much about the redraw, but this one will acutally affect one of my pets.
